As someone who has shot at a charging bear before (July 29th, 2019. I will never forget the experience) there is NOT a chance in the world you have time to just aim at his head. It moves too fast, and too unpredictably for you to make that shot consistently.

Reminds me of the time I took down a bear in Alaska with the revolver. Was shopping in Walmart when it just appeared in the cereal aisle
