For those who are too stupid to understand the implications of what she said, I will simplify it. FaceTime is supposed to be end to end encrypted meaning only the sender and receiver should be the only ones who see it. So in confidence the mother of the child showed her own mother what she would have shown her had they been in the privacy of their own home as mothers do. Her privacy was violated by Apple and perhaps and mostly everyone Apple gives that Data to.

100% yes we are surveilled in every possible way. Why is there even a single pdfile walking around free? If we are surveilled for “safety” why aren’t they arresting these criminals?

Just know when you give them access to your camera, mic and pictures then you’re giving them permission to spy on you.

It’s actually a setting you can change on your phone. So FT IS encrypted. Apple itself isn’t scanning the FT call. It’s a built in safety setting. Software ON YOUR DEVICE is DETECTING it, Not Apple. But you can turn off the safety setting in your settings and then you won’t get the warning. Hope this helps!

It’s AI programming monitoring - to try and cut down on child porn. I actually saw a Crime Show on ID channel, where they busted a cop, using his phone records - from random checking. Because the phone companies notify authorities when they hit a certain level of so many times under one account. Ie; had “autumn” had a certain number of incidents, the authorities would be paying her a visit.

Terms of service always gets us. It’s 2 miles long and full of unnecessary confusing language on purpose. Maybe we get AI to locate the key points we need to know so we don’t have to spend a month trying to find the bs.

Fun fact... I made a post on X when I was feeling depressed, nothing suicidal or anything and within 12 hours the Veterans Affairs was calling me asking if I was okay because of the tweet... They watch everything...

All of my devices for many years. It’s like $0.50 each and you can toggle it to open the camera the few minutes you actually use it on a given day. Laptops, phones, ipad, Nintendos, doesn’t matter.

I will also add, if you’re propping your phone up in the bathroom which most people to get situated while watching a video or reading news, this means the cameras are filing your privates and your activities in the bathroom! This is what my moms spoke to her a moment after mentioning she was sleepy. Her phone was sitting idly beside her chair… Everyone is under surveillance of some type or another. Get used to it, or put away technologies you can’t comprehend.

I don't think this is human monitoring. It is a software built into your phone or on the app to ensure safety. It is like a door to your house that rings an alarm whenever it is opened. It sends this musical message without any human monitoring or recording activities at your doorway. The way to confirm that this isn’t human-monitored is that if 100 people in a classroom share such photos amongst themselves at the same time with the same make of Apple phone, they will all receive such a message on their receiving phones at the same time. That is likely to happen because there is no human involved. It is all about programming, with no human delay. If they all got the message immediately at once, are you saying Apple employed one worker to monitor each of their customers using their phones around the world? So, like the door analogy, it is possible to gatekeep the influx of activities on your gadget for safety, purely through programming — without involving any humans and without any digital traces (recording). This would still satisfy the end-to-end encryption condition.

In order to protect children from pedophilia and predators every image you save into your IPhone will be scanned by AI programmed to catch what it deems child porn and alert police. Whatever you complaining about is designed to protect children. Your phones will flag you for follow up. Be careful, it’s not just Apple. When it comes to saving children, your privacy means nothing.

Unfortunately true. In fact, every time I’m on my phone or iPad with a call, whether placed or received, a tiny little orange dot appears in the upper corner of them. These devices may be ours, but not really, ‘they’ are watching & listening to EVERYTHING. Privacy DOES NOT exist.
