@Greggsmurf has been caught several times trying to steal the copper out of the AC units in Georgia and the pensicola Florida area’s because he’s a jobless spastic. He’s using his earnings to buy coors banquets. He needs to be arrested!!!

They are being stolen bc HVAC companies are WAY OVERCHARGING for them. People cant afford replacements. I had a price, just for a hard start kit, $1,250 on my 16 year old unit. New unit $7,000!!! Hvac companies are buying them for under $2,000-$2500

Have you seen how fast a brother can strip a unit. I run a HVAC Business in maryland and it's becoming almost common place anymore. If it isn't bolted down or caged, it won't last long.

My buddy was rehabbing a house in St Louis in the hood. The AC units were stolen twice in the same month. The second time he paid to have a GPS tracker put in it. So the second time, he showed the cops where the tracker was and they did nothing. Wasn’t enough for probable cause.

Guys! There's $4 of copper in that AC! Burn the whole house down.

They've just now started doing this? I sold these cages at one point because they're necessary when you're near any type of public housing development. Hell, junkyards stopped allowing you to scrap A/C units unless you have a HVAC license because of theft.
