Water can stay liquid even below 0°C. This is called supercooling. So a bottle that wasn't frozen inside the refrigerator can suddenly freeze the moment you take it out, shake it, or open it. The movement triggers ice crystals to form almost instantly.

We will all learn physics. The bottle contains water that has been cooled below its normal freezing point (0°C) but hasn’t turned into ice yet. This is called supercooling. Water doesn’t always freeze the instant it reaches 0°C. To begin freezing, it usually needs a tiny disturbance or a microscopic particle (called a nucleation site) where ice crystals can start forming. Most of the times, the water molecules are ready to become ice, but they’re waiting for the first ice crystal to form. The moment you shake, tap, or open the bottle, you create that disturbance. Instantly, millions of ice crystals begin to form, and the freezing spreads through the bottle in seconds. It looks like the water freezes “all at once,” but na scam, it was the trigger that caused that. More like a when we watch an amazing live performance. Even though we all want to clap, but we maintain steeze. The moment one person starts clapping, then all of us join and it’s papapa everywhere. The first person is like the first water molecule.

The water is so pure that there's no impurity to start freezing process so once you shake the bottle creating a disturbance, you create tiny bubble that then starts the freezing process 😏

It is called super cooling. It is a phenomenon whereby water becomes super cold, less than 0 degrees but as long as d water doesn't feel any form of disturbances, crystal formation doesn't occur, .. you can ask Google or chatgpt and thank me later

It’s called supercooling. That water is so purified it won’t give chance for ice to form unless it’s disturbed

It's not magic—the water was already below its freezing point but was undisturbed; it just hadn't started crystallizing yet because nothing had triggered the process. You triggered it by disturbing the particles.

This is called supercooling. The water was actually below its freezing point but stayed liquid because it hadn’t been disturbed. As soon as the bottle was moved, that tiny disturbance triggered the water to freeze almost instantly. This is physics!

This phenomenon seen in this video is called supercooling. What happened is that the bottled water had been cooled below its normal freezing point (0°C or 32°F) while it was still in the freezer, yet it remained liquid. Why? Because freezing isn't controlled by temperature alone. Water molecules must first organize themselves into an ice crystal lattice, and that process requires a tiny starting point called a nucleation site, often a microscopic impurity, an air bubble, or even a slight vibration. Inside the undisturbed bottle, there was no suitable nucleation site, so the water existed in a metastable liquid state despite being cold enough to freeze. The moment the bottle was removed from the freezer and disturbed, that mechanical shock triggered nucleation. Ice crystals began forming, and because freezing is an exothermic phase transition (it releases latent heat), crystallization spread rapidly through the bottle, giving the appearance that the water froze almost instantly from the bottom upward. In simple terms: the water wasn't waiting to get colder, it was waiting for the first ice crystal to form.
