Can someone from China explain who created this propaganda, and why was it allowed by the CPC?

China, like almost everywhere else in the world, is heavily influenced by American propaganda (including Hollywood) which ultimately brainwashes how great capitalism is. Difference is: they competed against this making it their reality while it remains a delusion for Americans.

But this level of exaggeration is not normal. Sure the media over report positive things,with some embellishments, about the west, but not to an absurd level. At least not in my country.

A lot of undocumented Chinese immigrants come from Fuzhou via human smuggling rings. If you operated one of those smuggling rings, wouldn't you want people to think that? Then there's Hollywood and all sorts of misinformation. Just like how a lot of information about everyday China isn't understood by most Americans, many Chinese who don't need to don't really go out of their way to understand how America works. Even pro-China twitter is guilty of believing in whatever they want to believe, because the linguistic and cultural barrier makes facts harder to verify

After the liberals in CPC came to power in 1978, they needed to find a realistic basis for political change, so they beautified the US, the most true answer.

But these weren't realistic at all, even in the heyday of America. 😂

Those propagandas that fantasize the US as paradise has put great pressure on China government. Because every Chinese thinks they deserve a country at least as good as the imaginary America. In the past 20 years, the whole country has been working hard to achieve this goal.
