Malema Cleared as Suspended TMPD Deputy Chief Denies EFF Link to Security Tender List Allegations Suspended Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) Deputy Chief Umashi Dhlamini clarified that EFF leader Julius Malema was not involved in providing a controversial list of preferred security companies for an anti-land invasion tender. Two individuals, identified as Muzi Mazibuko and Sipho, approached him in March 2025. They claimed to represent the EFF and its leader (often called "CIC Juju"), saying they had met with the City’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Gareth Mnisi and were pushing for seven specific companies to be awarded the contract. Two weeks ago Queen Victoria and the Patriotic Alliance team closed a spaza shop in Fleurhof. The landlord who is a South African decided to operate the shop. The Ethiopians were not happy about it and told her that she is not allowed to open a shop in the area because it's their territory. They went to confront them today and Ama menemene calling themselves South Africans were the ones defending the Ethiopians. A fight broke out between the two groups. Patriots don't promote violence however when challenged they will respond positively. Those South Africans were dealt with. Nobody must stop us from saving our country and there shall be consequences to those who try. #WeWantOurCountryBack 🇿🇦

I don't know whether Mnisi is young, immature, unprofessional, or just simply corrupt. He does not understand the meaning of Conflict of Interest, in the case of being friends with Sergeant Nkosi, and his brother's company bidding for a tender which he, as Chair of the Bid Adjudication Committee, would be adjudicating on. He didn't see a need to declare that friendship. The Chair and Commissioners are gobsmacked. His explanation is that he had assisted Ngaphesheya with a Tender document for another municipality which he can't remember, when he said to them "we need Grade A guards". It's that "we" again. 🤦🏽‍♀️ #MadlangaCommission

Its purpose was to honour the families and colleagues of officers who lost their lives in the line of duty between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026. You appear to have overlooked the children who lost parents and were present at the ceremony. If the concern is inclusivity, a more relevant question would have been why Coloured, White and Indian South Africans were not represented among the officers who died on duty during that period. That was the focus of the event, not police recruitment. 🧐

It comes from the kind of news they were exposed to and the anger they felt. I myself probably wouldn’t do the same thing that person did to us. 🦖: What I want is for people to look more at the reality of what is happening, what actually occurred between Thailand and Cambodia. And to try to understand it, because in truth, ordinary people like us, and people on the Cambodian side as well, are directly affected by this situation. But this is not something we should be blaming or attacking each other over.
