Can we call this AI directing? 😂 Seedance 2.0 with the Omni Reference feature honestly feels like a total game changer. Summer Trip is one of my film which I made used Omni Reference, not only start frame anymore and for the first time, it genuinely feels like I’m... directing the AI instead of just prompting it. The reasoning in Seedance 2.0 is seriously impressive. It understands intent in a way that feels collaborative. Of course, in production it still needs proper touch-ups in post, grading, timing, polishing details, but the foundation it gives is strong. Like it or not, we’re already here. And to be honest, my workflow has to evolve too. I can’t approach this the same way I did before. It’s less about generating random shots and more about guiding, refining, and thinking like a director from the start. Personally, I see this as a shift, not replacing filmmaking, but reshaping the role of the filmmaker. Now the question isn’t “Can AI make it?” but “How well can you direct it?”show more

Something I am curious about and I wanted to see if the community is feeling the same way that I am. Does it feel like your ammo does nothing towards chest shots? Since there is no wipes on Escape From Tarkov anymore it feels like Ammo has become not as good and Its because everyone is running T5 and T6 plates I guess? Its not impossible to get high tier ammo but its not easy either. It feels like shooting someone in the chest just doesn't matter anymore with the ammo that you can get from traders and from crafting. So you need to headshot people instead of shooting for chest because chest shots unless you have the best ammo just isn't worth it because people take no damage from certain shots because of how the armor is done right now. I don't really know how to fix it this unless they went back to the old armor system? It just feels like things are weird right now and I wanted to make a post and see how everyone else in the community thought about it. Here is a video of me getting shot by the BTR and my armor tanked the entire round and did 0 damage to my chest.

When I saw that Assassin's Creed Unity was getting a 60 FPS update for current gen consoles, I honestly could not wait to see it with my own eyes. And after playing it, I realized it is not just 60 FPS. The game also seems to be upscaled to 4K, which is absolutely insane in my opinion and the game runs incredibly smooth! Many of you know that I have never been the biggest fan of Unity. But I have to admit, maybe it is just placebo, yet it genuinely feels like the game plays better. Almost like the controller responds more precisely to what I actually want to do. I tested it properly in stealth and of course in parkour, and I have to say, it feels amazing! For PC players this might not be anything special. But for someone like me, mainly playing on console, finally being able to experience Assassin’s Creed Unity at 60 FPS is a game changer. And by the way, co op also seems to be working normally again. This is honestly crazy to see!

Might of found a way to use this mechanic in comp. I've seen people do this on the floor a couple times but not really on the wall in this way. I do think this could be used in comp because of the sharp change in trajectory of the ball and it could seriously bait out players. Not to mention it can be done on any part of the wall so even off the ceiling. I'm already getting fairly consistent at it on one side and I've practiced it for a day. It feels like doing the breezi flick for the first time but this could be a more practical mechanic. If it can be done on command consistently it has ridiculous potential for passes and other stuff Not saying this is a new mechanic btw nor is it guaranteed to become meta but I love the idea of seeing innovation and new things in the game because there isn't much of it these days so I hope people aren't closed minded about it. Would love to hear opinions on it

🇳🇱🗽 This is ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 with my New Amsterdam (current day New York City) Simulator prompt Unlike previous models like Seedance 1.5 (which would add windmills that didn't look Dutch), it really accurately portrays the city as it was in 1670 It's very impressive and because it takes reference image/video/audio, you can put yourself in it like I did here Only thing bad I see is some distortion in is some of the text which other video models seem to do better now, but yes it's very impressive This is purposely made to look a bit like a game, so it can do more photorealism than this actually

Sora animates with this wonderful wonky, sketchy dreamlike quality that perfectly captures the nostalgic atmosphere of a hazy 90's suburban summer afternoon. While Seedance is just as sophisticated and in some aspects superior, I will miss the quality of Sora. Sora feels like 35mm film, with the nuanced way it captures lighting, color, and perspective, while Seedance feels digital - a bit too clean. I am confident that I can replicate this sketchy quality in Seedance by tweaking my prompts, but Sora has a unique way of animating that really should be preserved. There are many more bugs and mistakes with Sora, but when it gets it right, it REALLY hits a level of artful magic that sets it above all other models. I am shocked that I still appear to be the only person who is creating AI-Generated 2D animation with original characters while developing a unique Western style. Practically no one is doing 2D AI-animation at all, and when they do, it is usually an attempt to mimic an Anime style. 2D really should be attempted more by AI Filmmakers!! Especially with a Western model like Sora, before it is terminated in the fall. Really, everyone should be taking advantage of the way this model so skillfully animates, with the heart and soul of a seasoned professional. I personally feel AI-generated animation is superior to 3D/realistic AI filmmaking. While AI-generated realism is an attempt to mimic real life through a lens, 2D animation IS what it is - not a replica of anything, just a cartoon. I love all my AI filmmaker bros and all of the cutting edge work going on, but I urge all of you to give 2D animation a chance. : ) I'm still not giving up hope that we can save Sora somehow. Now that I see that Seedance is able to animate 2D brilliantly and beautifully, I know that it's not some hidden secret, and we can replicate the weights and maths of Sora. If we can't preserve Sora, we can make a comparable model. It's not just in the interest of AI-Animators like me to preserve this model, but in the interest of the entire American AI community if they want Western AI to be superior. If not, Chinese video models will dominate. Okay, this one is the Grok Imagine version. But here’s something you need to note: I uploaded the character sheet I made with Nano Banana Pro as the base image. So it feels like this fake “Omni reference” kind of style, but it works 😄 Somehow, it’s much more consistent than uploading a still image of your scene with your character, because there’s a chance your character will morph a bit. By using your character sheet as the base model, it helps maintain consistency. The only problem is that when you do the img2vid prompt, you need to retell the setting, the action, the vibe and so on. But for me, I kind of like that approach, LOL 😆 Like I said, I’m getting lazy about animating images one by one. With this approach, I can just focus on dividing the shots, like shot 1: blabla, shot 2: bliblibli, shot 3: blublu, etc. Now for the comparison: In comparison with the Kling 3.0 Omni version, I feel that Grok Imagine is much more dynamic. But in terms of the character performance, it feels a bit over the top. It’s like the AI characters are acting it out 😁 Meanwhile, Kling 3.0 Omni feels much more realistic in terms of the acting and a bit more atmospheric. I honestly love both. If I want to fool around, I guess I’ll use Grok Imagine. But if I want more subtle realism and a candid feel, I’ll go with Kling 3.0.

This is the future of storytelling. Not in some distant way… but like right now. I made this using AI. It’s called PAPERCUT. A new animated film concept I'm developing. It's not perfect, but it gets the creative juices flowing. The idea came from my son. We were just talking and he said he wished there was a movie about a Blasian kid surviving a zombie apocalypse. And it hit me… that movie doesn’t exist. Not because it’s not a good idea, but because it would probably never get made. So I made it. And once I started, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Like where did all the great zombie movies go? The ones that felt original, that had personality. The Shaun of the Deads, the George Romero classics. What if you took that energy… but made it animated? Stylized. A little fun. A little scary. Something a kid could watch, but still feel the danger. That’s what this is. Honestly… this doesn’t happen without AI. This idea just stays a conversation. But now it’s real. That’s the shift. You don’t have to wait around anymore hoping someone says yes. You can just go make the thing.
