He’s confusing the point. The thief on the cross had no works. Obedience does not equal saving faith. Religious leaders can be outwardly white but not know God. The verse points to a lack of relationship and trust in Christ.

“Faith without works is dead” but no amount of work you can do in this life will save your soul. Only the death and resurrection of Christ has done that for each and every one of us no matter how deep in sin we might be drowning in right now. Our God is a righteous and loving God

Thank God this kid is perfect and knows it all

Salvation is not works based! 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 Thank God we are not held to that standard because none of us are good enough and none of us are sin free…😔😔😔 I can’t stand people like this that claim “your actions” are what’s most important. The guy in this video sins everyday so 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻

It’s once saved always saved if your Good works did not get you saved then your bad works will not get you unsaved

For you are saved by grace through faith and not of works lest anyone should boast there is no boasting because the grace is a free gift and God gave us the faith to receive the free gift. So no one when they enter heaven should say I did this and this and I lived holy because God will say be away from me I never knew you. No when you get to heaven God is going to say did you believe on my son what he did at the cross for you.

Once saved always saved. However you gotta endure until the point where you are saved. Nobody turns away from God after being saved. And once you're saved you know 100% you're saved because you receive the Holy Spirit and that is unmistakenly a divine intervention.

The debate is if someone was really saved. If someone truly is saved they can’t lose it.

If your son mistreats you for 50 years, does that suddenly make him a ‘fake son’? Before judging others, can you even prove your own love for God? Is it truly 100% pure? Be careful… your Judge will judge you as well

Context context context!!! This dude is so misled on this sadly.

Endure to the end is talking about the tribulation saints. That verse isn't written to the body of Christ. Know your audience. Paul isn't even converted yet....

"Where there are many words, sin is not far." Just answer the question simply and succinctly z and use just the few Scriptures that answer the question. Simply use the Sower of Seeds teaching, and be done.

I think we are comparing a devine Loving and caring God to us we may say yes 50 years of the husband cheating and then he says he is sorry, Jesus was mocked spit on and wipped something that shows someone they don't matter yet Jesus said forgive them father1/2

Getting married under the government has nothing to do with God it’s the state and they want you married so they can control you both especially when you divorce so they can steal your money don’t fall for the traps of the government, God knows your heart it’s that simple he knows all

@TamGarrison1975 I’m in agreement. While I acknowledge that it’s impossible to live a sinless life. Salvation is perishable. It appears that it’s not about being perfect. But our desire to become perfected. We can’t serve two masters. Can’t serve sin and God. It comes down to the heart.

The question should nor be can we lose our salvation. The question should be, did we ever receive salvation? Did we surrender our lives to God, receive the Holy Spirit, and did our lives change to look more like God?

Can anyone pluck you out of the father’s hand?

Pastor Paul Washer explains it brilliantly. Watch the first 15 minutes and you'll see

Salvation comes by obedience. Paul lied to you.

In today's 'religious' world (steeped in Calvinism), this is not popular, but he is 100% correct. HOW many verses would the 'once saved, always saved' need to be convinced? Or is that even possible to convince a Calvinist? Ready to study! Only those genuine need reply.

No

But salvation is the gift of god and he doesn’t take it back. In the first illustration despite infidelity he is still married. It is a legal declaration. But try infidelity and see what happens.

This is straight forward sound doctrine

AMEN

100% wrong. The elders of his church need to sit him down and read the Bible to him again... Im going to share this in a real, straightforward way, like we are just sitting down with our Bibles open. When Christ truly saves you, you are saved for good, and it is all because of what HE promises to do. It is not about us being flawless. It is about trusting His word completely. First, Jesus says it right there in John 10:28 and 29. He gives us eternal life. We will NEVER perish. No one can snatch us out of His hand. His Father has given us to Him, and the Father is greater than anyone else. No one can snatch us out of the Fathers hand either. That means no devil, no sin, and not even WE ourselves can pull away. If a real believer could lose salvation, then Jesus own words would fall apart. He says almost the same thing in John 5:24. Truly, truly, whoever hears His word and believes the One who sent Him already has eternal life. That person has passed from death over to life and will not face judgment. It is already done. Not a maybe. Not something you keep only if your belief stays perfect every single day. Second, God seals the deal and gives us a guarantee. Ephesians 1:13 and 14 tells us that when we believe, we are sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. He is the guarantee of the inheritance we will fully receive one day. Ephesians 4:30 calls it the day of redemption. You cannot unseal yourself. The Holy Spirit is Gods down payment. He does not walk away or change His mind. Romans 8:38 and 39 makes it even clearer. Paul says he is sure that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Not death, not life, not angels, not rulers, not things now or things coming, not powers, not height or depth, and not anything else in all creation. That list includes every future sin, every failure, and every doubt. He wrote those words to ordinary believers who were going through hard times in Rome. Romans 11:29 adds that the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Salvation is a pure gift, just like Ephesians 2:8 and 9 says. God does not take back His gifts. Third, God always finishes the job He starts. Philippians 1:6 promises that the One who began a good work in you will keep going until it is complete on the day of Christ Jesus. Jude 24 praises Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before His glory with great joy. It is His power holding us steady, not our perfect record. If everything rested on us enduring without a single mistake, none of us would stand a chance. But the true sheep hear His voice and follow Him, like John 10:27 says. And Jesus makes sure they keep following, even when they stumble, just like Peter did that night he denied Him. That is the heart of it, Gods faithfulness, not our flawless performance.

Man that’s good

Endure to the end to be saved is about persecution

Yes, this is exactly why the Orthodox view on Christianity states that salvation is not a one-time occurrence but a lifelong process of devotion.

No because once you are saved you change.
