I had a good meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. Thank you for the invitation to the European Political Community Summit. This is the first visit by the President of Ukraine to Armenia in the past 24 years. It is important that we are restoring active dialogue between our countries. We discussed the situation in the region, as well as security challenges and threats. I briefed the Prime Minister on the diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a real peace. We also discussed the development of our economic partnership. I proposed resuming the work of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation and holding its next meeting this year in Kyiv.

Today in Munich, Germany. An important day, and there will be new steps toward our shared security – that of Ukraine and Europe. On the agenda is the first joint Ukrainian-German drone production enterprise, as well as bilateral and multilateral meetings with partners. We need more of our joint production, more of our resilience, more coordination and effectiveness of our shared security architecture in Europe. The most significant thing we can achieve together is ending the war with a dignified peace and creating reliable security guarantees for Ukraine and for all of Europe – so that no one in Europe is afraid of being left without protection. Thank you to everyone who is helping!

May the souls of our departed UNRWA colleagues rest in peace, and may we draw strength from their example as we continue our vital work in the pursuit of a better world. Below is my full speech, as we gathered at World Health Organization (WHO) to honour our colleagues, who lost their lives, with a minute of silence: Dear colleagues, Today, we gather with heavy hearts to remember and honor our dear UN colleagues who tragically lost their lives in #Gaza. Their unwavering commitment, sacrifice, and bravery will forever be etched in our memories. These dedicated individuals embodied the spirit of the United Nations, standing on the frontlines of conflict zones to provide much-needed humanitarian assistance and support. They put their lives on the line to bring hope and relief to those affected by violence and despair. Their memory and the impact they made will forever remain. Their unwavering dedication to peace, justice, and the well-being of others serves as a guiding light and a reminder of the importance of our shared mission. In the face of immense challenges and danger, they remained steadfast in their commitment to make a difference in the lives of those they served. Their courage and selflessness touched the lives of countless individuals and communities. Today, we honor their memory and recommit ourselves to the pursuit of peace, justice, and the well-being of all people. We extend our deepest condolences and support to the families and loved ones left behind. Their loss is immeasurable, and we stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time. As we reflect on the lives of our fallen colleagues, let us also recognize the importance of unity and collaboration. Second, the crises affecting us all: Russia's war against Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East and health emergencies. These crises often amplify existing vulnerabilities. Geopolitical shocks can aggravate structural economic challenges. Hormuz is a case in point. As partners, our work has two strands. The first is external. We'll keep weaving a tighter network of trusted partnerships, expand preferential trade links, and diversify our sources of critical raw materials. The second starts at home. We need to strengthen our own resilience, in manufacturing, technology, energy and defence. That means creating the right conditions for industry to thrive. And ensuring we have the right tools to protect our market when necessary. This work will continue at the European Council.
