I’ve got a foot in both economies, I’m Canadian, Irish, and my kids are American. What makes no sense to me is where Canada and the U.S. are right now. We’re neighbors. Canada has the natural resources the largest economy on Earth needs. That’s a massive opportunity. I’ve seen this work before. Deals get done when leaders meet privately, no cameras, no posturing. Just policy and outcomes. That’s why I believe Mark Carney and Donald Trump need to sit down, one-on-one, and work it out. It could be a win-win for both countries.
