Earlier When Nestle (Maggie) was banned they targeted Haldirams foods Now Nestle food is in danger (found more sugar percentage than other countries) and MDH & Everest is causing cancer!! Both are interlinked or happening casually

Masalas are all agricultural crops and the govt should monitor at the farm levels Nd educate to not use excessive pesticides. Masala companies do not grow crops nor do they add pesticides. 80-90% crops in India are having some percentage of pesticides need to tackle at farm level

what are the Indian standards and how are these tested? During the cocacola controversy on high pesticide compared to other countries, the company had clarified that they adhere to the standards of each country. Not that of one country in another.

We need organized agriculture that will help in standardisation on use of pesticide otherwise it is next to impossible to regulate the use of best practices. Unfortunately, middle men will block roads acting as farmers..

Hopefully this action will be taken for all MNCs too. None of corporates in agri/food supply chain will pass muster, given their priority for profits over health. Actually, this way, they also create market for corporates in health sector.

Govt food dept needs to be serious on such issue instead of doing corruption…they need to evaluate again all food items and banned it accordingly. #PPLlVESMATTER

🚨 DO NOT EAT INDIAN PRODUCTS 🚨 “Over 400 Indian food products have been banned by the European Union for excessive contamination” Yes — 400+ These aren’t minor recalls — these are full-blown bans due to dangerous toxins, pesticides, heavy metals, bacteria, and more. 🧵 FULL THREAD 👇 1) 🇪🇺 The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has consistently flagged Indian exports for: •Pesticide residues far beyond safety limits •Cancer-causing chemicals (like ethylene oxide) •Unauthorized dyes in spices •Banned antibiotics in seafood •Fecal bacteria in ready-to-eat products 2) 🇺🇸 USA has rejected tons of Indian food shipments due to: •Salmonella in spices •Lead in turmeric •Rodent hair and insect fragments in processed foods •Formalin in exported fish Even major brands like MDH, Everest, and Haldiram’s have faced recalls abroad! 3) ⚠️ In 2024, Hong Kong banned MDH & Everest spices due to ethylene oxide — a cancer-causing pesticide. This chemical is banned for food use in most of the world. But it’s still showing up in Indian exports. Imagine how many are still being sold unchecked in local shops. 4) 🇸🇬 Singapore & Australia issued alerts on Indian snacks and instant foods for: •Unsafe levels of acrylamide (a potential carcinogen) •Mislabeling ingredients •Spoiled or expired packaged goods being exported 📦 Many were pulled off shelves just days after arriving. 6) ⚠️ These Indian products were banned by EU regulators for contamination but are still sitting on shelves in North America: •MDH Masala (contains ethylene oxide, a cancer-causing chemical) •Everest Spices (same toxin, multiple variants) •Patanjali Herbal Powders (contain lead & arsenic) •Frozen Indian Seafood (laced with formalin, a preservative used in dead bodies) •Indian Turmeric Powder (frequently flagged for excessive lead) •Ready-to-eat Indian meals (found contaminated with salmonella & e.coli) •Desi Snacks like Haldiram’s (some flagged for acrylamide, a potential carcinogen) 7) 🥶 India’s lack of regulation and food safety enforcement has made it the #1 source of rejected food shipments globally — according to US FDA import refusal reports. 🚫 What’s banned abroad is still being sold in Canada, UK, and US ethnic grocery stores. 8) 🛑 Avoid food products made in India unless tested or certified: •Masalas •Pickles •Instant noodles •Herbal powders •Ayurvedic products •Frozen snacks 🔍 Check the origin. Many “desi” brands import straight from Indian factories with zero oversight. 9) ⚰️ Why this matters: Consuming contaminated products long-term can cause: •Organ damage •Cancer •Hormonal issues •Infertility •Chronic gut infections Yet Indian companies continue exporting while playing with millions of lives. 10) 💡 Action: ✅ Read product labels ✅ Choose brands with international certifications ✅ Report suspicious items to health authorities ✅ Share this thread — especially with elders who regularly buy desi products 11) 🧾 The global trust in Indian food exports is collapsing. 📉 If over 400 products have been banned in just the EU, imagine how many more are slipping through in countries with weak regulations or corrupt customs officials. ⚠️ Don’t wait for a health crisis to stop. — 🔁 RETWEET to warn others 📌 Bookmark this for your next grocery trip #FoodSafety #IndianProducts #HealthAlert #Spices #BannedProducts #EthyleneOxide #Lead #IndiaExportScam
