You see, this is how Candace Owens gets away with spewing her bullshit. Because her cultists are gullible, stupid, and evil (a deadly combination) they don’t hold her accountable to say things that logically follow. Here Candace is going after Dana Loesch and mocking her for simply reading Scripture that talks about widows and how they are to be treated. Candace doesn’t want to contend with the substance of this because even though she believes herself to be God, she’s at least smart enough to realize that arguing against it would put her in direct contradiction to God’s Word in the public view. So she goes with mockery instead. Candace says that “Just because you can quote a Bible verse, that doesn’t confer sanctification on you.” And she uses examples of how gang members and famous people have Bible verses tattooed on their bodies but live anything but holy lives. But here’s the difference, Candace: Erika Kirk is not the one out in public quoting Scripture about how she should be treated. Others are. We are. And the Scripture is very clear that we are the ones called to defend, uphold, and honor the widow—not the widow herself. If Erika was out shoving Bible verses in our faces about how she deserves respect because she’s a widow, then I would agree that would be too much. But Erika isn’t doing that, and she’s handling the slings and arrows you keep sending her way with grace. Keep trying to put yourself above God’s Word, Candace, and see how well that goes for you. I predict bouts of madness on the level of King Nebuchadnezzar that will have you eating grass in the field. I predict you will lose your sanity at a much younger age than the average person. Keep immersing yourself in bullshit asinine conspiracy theories and watch as your mental acuity rapidly begins to deteriorate.

If I’m wrong about Erika Kirk, my conscience is clear. My intent stayed clean. I erred on the side of Scripture, which treats the mistreatment of widows as a serious offense before God. But if you’re wrong, and you spent this season demonizing a grieving widow, manufacturing suspicion, and fueling harassment, then you didn’t just “get it wrong.” You became the instrument of oppression. And God doesn’t shrug at that. He hears the cry of the widow. He weighs motives. He judges the tongue that spreads strife, the mouth that traffics in rumor, and the hands that throw stones then call it “discernment.”

Many ppl ask me (and others defending Erika Kirk) why we care. We don’t work for Turning Point USA. We didn’t know Charlie. We don’t know Erika. In his show yesterday, Ben Shapiro answered: “I don’t think you have to be friends with somebody to defend their widow… I think actually you can just defend the widows of people who got shot from conspiracy theories about how THEY did the shooting.”

Leave. The. Widow. Alone. Scripture is unambiguous about this. From Exodus to the words of Jesus himself, God makes it clear that he hates the mistreatment of widows. Erika Kirk lost her husband in a brutal, public tragedy, and the way some self professing Christians have mocked, policed, and attacked her grief is deeply unbiblical. This just reveals pharisaical hearts. If your version of “Christianity” calls you to mistreat someone based on flippant conspiracy x-threads, then my friend, you are indeed in a CULT, not exercising Christianity.

And I mean, you can be the judge when you listen to the story but to me it’s very evident that everyone including Charlie who had the misfortune of having a personal relationship with her have had to manage her. Because if you don’t manage her, she will crush you. She will lie, steal, cheat, and destroy your reputation. It doesn’t matter if you have children or if you are a good person. Personally, when I saw her merchandise launch that said Shabot Shalom daddy’s home it was pretty clear who we are dealing with. Whenever I see anybody speak out against her, that knows her or that had any kind of relationship with her, I realize how brave they are because it’s much easier to be Megyn Kelly. It’s much harder to stand in the breach and take the incoming fire because you know it’s the right thing to do.
