@aaron_reitz @mattgaetz Many do not know this. The pledge of allegiance to America is still part of our doctrine in Texas. The 10 commandments are the foundation to all beliefs except to anarchy. Just 10 easy rules to follow to make us ALL safe.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott says the proposed Islamic foot washing station at DFW - and the existing one at IAH - are unconstitutional and illegal, based on special treatment for a single religious group. He indicated he will push for the one at IAH to be ripped out on that basis, having stopped down the plans at DFW. He also says it is "apples and oranges" to compare the principle that government should not favor one religion to the Texas law requiring the Ten Commandments be displayed in public classrooms. Why is it only Christians and Western people expected to show absolutely no favouritism for their own culture? Muslim countries are allowed to be Muslim. They have the Shahada on their flag. America is 70% Christian. Western law, morality, and the legal system are built on it. Putting the Ten Commandments in schools isn't forcing religion on anyone. Freedom of religion is not freedom from religion.
