As a Christian I don’t like this. We can teach our values at church where families can choose whether or not they want to learn our faith and doctrine… which is what we are supposed to offer, a choice.

Why even ask that question in the end to be neutral? No. It’s horrifying how hard the right is pushing us towards a theocracy. Anything enforcing anything to do with religion should be banned from all government funded public institutions.

The foundation of all morality & core values comes from the Bible. Many will argue that, but the fact of the matter is, whether you choose to believe in God or deny Him, without an absolute source of morality, who's to say what's right or wrong TRULY? It's all subjective then.

This is something I'd get in a private Christian or Catholic school, but for public schools in Jewish or Muslim communities, this doesn't really work out all too well.

I say this as a Christian. I think this has the right goals, but I think it needs to be more open. If someone is Jewish of Muslim, allow them to study the Torah or Quran if they would prefer, then I have no issue with it.
