I hear so often from the Dommes I work with that they struggle with people online fetichizing them and simply seeing them for how sexy and beautiful they are. They project their fantasies and their desires onto you. That stops immediately once you move the attention from you to them. From 'look at me' to 'I see you'. What does that look like? When you create content, think of them and what this scene or that narrative is evoking. What will they learn from you? What they want is not to passively watch how sexy you are, but for you to train them, to give them instructions, to teach them, to guide them, to be in charge, to command them. POV: you stopped lifting heavy and threw 98 MPH Up until I threw 95, and even in pro ball with the Phillies and Rangers, all I tried to do in the weight room was lift as heavy as I could. Now that I’m trying to throw 100 miles an hour, I’ve realized that’s not the most efficient way to train. This is something I see a lot of guys struggle with. They go to college, get bigger and stronger, but don’t throw harder. And they wonder why. The biggest reason is they’re not training rate of force development. In the pitching delivery, you only have milliseconds to produce force. If you can’t produce a high amount of force in that time, your velocity will be limited. Once I started incorporating rate of force development into my training, I began climbing into the 96, 97, 98 mile an hour range. My favorite ways to train this are overcoming isometrics, oscillatory work, explosive lifts, VBT-style training, ballistic barbell movements, and plyometrics. Most backend engineers are used to thinking that their job ends once they provide the API endpoints. But the real question is how well do those endpoints perform when a large number of users hit them repeatedly at the same time? And more importantly, how do you test that during the development phase? In the video above, I explain how engineers can properly test whether their endpoints can handle scale and repeated requests from multiple users simultaneously, using a tool called Apache JMeter. The video walks through everything—from installation to running the tool and finally testing your API. For this demo, I used a local service running on my laptop.
