Those security people need to be arrested.

They’re not even even police officers or law enforcement, this is private security.

@MrPeace505 What kind of a Journalist are you ?? You could have waited until you have the whole information but you are behaving like TMZ now.

People demand justice but cry when a resisting suspect gets roughed up. This is private security doing what SAPS often can't fighting crime with reasonable force. Criminals don't show mercy to victims.

If the blue light brigade can do it to innocent motorists. Private security can do it to criminals

Seeing white officers assault a black person triggers post-apartheid trauma for me.

@pmcafrica They need to be found and they should account for this. This cannot be legal

@RRespawned What’s the problem? The guy was arrested. Of the “community” got hold of him, he would not be alive.

Suicidal empathy will be the end of civilised society, people are quick to cry foul until this bra or other criminals are standing in your living room at 3am with your kids fast asleep in the next room.

All that smashing and beating screams vindictive. They got him, could have simply cuffed him but chose taking turns beating him. I know you’ll say, “do you know what he did” but there’s absolutely no place where the law gives you the right to stage a fight with a suspected criminal well under complete control.

People like taking videos until they become victims of crime, I don't believe security can just assault a person over nothing

I don’t see any problem here That is how you neutralize a resisting suspect instead of shooting…

Before you cry racism, first let's address the issue of security personnel thinking they are the law, these guys have no legal right to do what they did here, they violated that guy's human rights and need to account for assault

@lavidaNOTA This is who I want protecting my neighborhood at all times. We jog at night and sleep comfortably thanks to these guys. If you are not familiar they ask you where you are going and you better know your story. Wouldnt want it any other way.

Private securities around Cape Town are more powerful than the invisible SAPS.

Our police system is broken that’s why private security are doing as they wish. Those guys need to be arrested this is unacceptable.

Charge all of them for assault and obstructing traffic and lock them up. Reminiscent of the apartheid state security police.

SA government is soft on crime, intentionally. It suits their purpose and hides their own criminal activity. We could be like El Salvador if the government of the day really wanted it. Meanwhile, people drinking their lattes from across the street get upset about this
