The approach road has turned into a muddy, slippery stretch due to the ongoing bridge work, forcing thousands of commuters to risk slips and falls every day. For months, Railways say the north-side staircase is stalled because माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC has not issued the required NOC. If that’s true, why has माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC delayed a critical public safety project? BEWARE OF MUMBAI TRAFFIC POLICE NEGLIGENCE! Thanks to my dashcam, otherwise this totally incompetent Mumbai Traffic Police lady constable (who was very rude btw) would have extorted money from me for no fault of mine! As you can see in the video, I cross the stop line VERY comfortably when the light is green. When I am half way across the wide highway on which this light is situated is when the light turns orange. And then red at the point where there is a bottleneck created by these very traffic police operating under the flyover. The lady traffic constable in concern isn't even looking at my car or the light the whole time. She was busy looking somewhere else and just turns and looks at my car when I have already crossed the entire road, and she gestures me to stop, pointing at the light, indicating that I jumped it! After this, what is not recorded, because I stopped the recording to show it to her is even more shocking. She came up to me and said I jumped the light. I said no it turned red well after I crossed it, to which she rudely said "kaahi hi bolu naka" which means "dont talk rubbish"! Wow! After that I showed her the video, but SHE STILL INSISTED THAT I WAS WRONG AND I SHOULD PAY THE FINE. SERIOUSLY! NO KIDDING! This is her judgement making ability and she is in law and order? Her last plea to me was that why dont I pay, the fine is just Rs. 500! “Aaya hai to kuch deke hi jaana” attitude?? What sort of personnel do you have on board, Mumbai Traffic Police Commissioner of Police, Greater Mumbai महाराष्ट्र पोलीस - Maharashtra Police Dr Ravinder Singal IPS pravin padwal ? Even with the recording, this is my plight. Without it I was a total goner! MTP needs a major revamp. You all remember this case where Manav Patel and Harsh Makwana were killed by an overspeeding car on Vakola Flyover in Mumbai last week? Check what board was in the car's dashboard driven by 23-year-old accused Siddhesh Rupesh Belkar. As per the video from the accident night, it is alleged that accused had 'Police' board on the car's dashboard. Family and friends of the victims have taken out protests and demanded strict action against the accused. Police had said that Siddhesh was driving at a high speed on WEH when his Baleno jumped over the divider and crashed into the bike Manav and Harsh were riding.

6 days ago, someone identified crack in Mumbai metro flyover near Mulund And posted it on multiple social media including Reddit & Twitter MMRDA immediately fact checked it & said, everything is ok Today one concrete slab has collapsed & fell on a Car & Rickshaw Authorities have not done their job properly, when some responsible citizen has altered them, they ignored that also without properly checking it No value for lives of the people in this country, what a sh@meless people are in power 🤮

In the last 10 years, माझी Mumbai, आपली BMC has given approval to many projects by developers like Hiranandani Developers, Nahar Developers, Kanakia, Lodha, brookfied , GCC projects and many more, which are developing thousands of flats in the vicinity of Powai and Chandivali. The BMC has not cared to develop the required infrastructure, such as DP roads as per the DP plans, which has severely congested the area. Residents sat on a hunger strike demanding the completion of the 90-foot road connecting Chandivali Farm Road to JVLR, for which was in the DP plan since 1990 and a tender was approved, but after three years, the project still remains incomplete and only on paper. Similarly, the DP roads connecting Chandivali to Powai and Sakinaka to JVLR are also pending. Completing these roads would significantly decongest traffic in the area. Many such roads that have been in the DP plan since 1990 remain pending; if BMC is unable to keep pace with new developments, it should stop giving approvals to new projects. An upcoming project with around 600 flats and a commercial mall by Nahar Developer is coming up in Chandivali, yet the authorities still fail to provide the required and approved infrastructure (DP roads) to the residents. This is the silliest loophole in NYC. Every day, I see tons of people sitting in their cars for 90 minutes during the street cleaning times. If you sit in your car, you don't need to move it or get a ticket. At least not on the block near me. Plenty of people just collect tickets because it’s cheaper than garaging your car 😂 There must be a better solution.

Andrew Hanson from Better Streets West Dulwich, whose partner Anna Goodman, the academic producing favourable research on LTNs, was caught on camera removing a LTN opposition poster from a shop said "it's much easier to talk to your neighbours when there aren't 200 cars an hour going past your front door." That's ten cars every three minutes. Mr Hanson said the roads within the LTN were "never intended to take these volumes of traffic [3 cars a minute]". The kerbside on the roads within the LTN are filled with parked cars, as are the driveways, sometimes 2 or 3 cars per household. Yet LTN car owners believe three cars a minute is too many for their high car ownership road and should be relocated to the community roads used by 6,000 school children and onto the bus routes used by less affluent non-car owning residents.

Thank you. This is inner ring road, coming from Indiranagar to Koramangala on a weekday. Street hawkers have taken up the side lane + the pavement on both sides of ring road. This not only obstructs the pavement, but also causes so much traffic. As if the road works and flyover construction isn't causing enough chaos, we have guys selling t shirts and omelettes on the ring road? What is stopping them from setting up a stall outside safina plaza or outside empire to sell their stuff?
