Cardcaptor Sakura (1998)

nothing beats the animation in this era honestly. just pure soul.

The soundtrack for Cardcaptor Sakura is amazing! Actually, it's a great anime overall!

the way they animated magic back then is just unmatched, actually staring at this for an hour

😍

nothing beats the 90s animation style, legit hypnotic

oh tsubasa

Dude I remember going to buy the Clow book at Target but it’s pink as you know and was in the girls section. My dad was a real bro to 8 year old me. He grabbed it because I didn’t want to go into the girls section and when we brought it to checkout said something like, “Katie is really going to like this present.” He didn’t question me and had my back for liking something that he didn’t understand. (This was early 2000’s obviously when anime was still super niche)

nothing will ever top 90s magical girl transformations. the lighting is actually insane

Soft magic, big heart, that world still feels safe to grow up in

nothing will ever top the sakuras animation budget, it's actually insane

The season 1 finale! I remember watching it back in august last year.

How beautiful is that animation

One of the best shows ever

nothing beats this animation, i can hear this image

nothing beats that 90s animation style, the glow is insane

the nostalgia is actually painful. still the best animation style ever

nothing beats this animation style, i am ascending

This anime is peak.

true magic

I miss Sakura Avalon

I loved it. But could not saw more than 15 episodes.

Watching this Anime as a kid in the 2000s was amazing; one of the best Anime’s ever.

I would love to see a live action adaptation of this

My favorite card was the erase card.

Wow

Back when we thought all card games held magical powers "Joey this is not tarot 👉 ok 👍 😉
