The monetization of attention through medial outlet is linearly related to our collective reduction in curiosity about the world around us.

Unfortunately this still holds true, even with broader access to information today and almost instant communications throughout the globe, you have to search for Scientific information and research that is usually pay-walled in scientific journals and conference databases.

One wholesome aspect of Carl Sagan's character was his deep appreciation for the sense of wonder and curiosity that science can inspire. He often encouraged people, especially young minds, to explore the mysteries of the universe with a childlike curiosity.

Nobody cares for science because scientists are not rich or powerful, which is unfortunately the only measure of value in the socioeconomic system we live in.

People are starting to finally awaken to the realities. The information is more accessible than ever for those willing to become informed.
