Canada's exports to the EU were $34.3 billion, while imports from the EU were $86.7 billion, resulting in a trade deficit for Canada of $52.3 billion. So if Canada spent 36 billion of the 52 billion EU surplus ( still leaves a 16 billion dollar surplus for the EU) and spent that money in the US would Trump be happy ? And Carney’s plan is buy stuff from the EU that already has a 52 billion dollar surplus of trade with Canada Could someone explain to me how Carney has trade wars with US China India because Canada thinks he should not help reduce the 36 billion dollar trade surplus Canada has between the two countries.
