The purple accents with the dark case look great. How much did removing the standoffs change the feel under your fingers? That’s the part a typing video can’t really convey.

I only directly compared the aluminum plates, so there wasn't a huge difference in terms of typing feel. However, the typing sound near the standoffs changed—resulting in a more consistent sound overall—and the resonance of the typing sound also shifted.

Ah, so the more consistent sound was the bigger change in that comparison. Thanks for explaining, and for being specific about which plate you tested. Easy to miss that detail when comparing builds.
