BASKETBALL IS SIMPLE Winning Basketball is not about complicated sets, or the ability to make tough shots. It’s about being disciplined and consistent in the simple things that happen the most in the game…. Finishing possessions with rebounds, taking care of the basketball, keeping your player in front on defense, etc. Master those, add in your highlight plays, and you have winning basketball!!

Through his first 10 games McDowell is averaging 29/5/2 on 51/42/94 splits and is leading D2 in total scoring as just a sophomore. McDowell is one of the most efficient scorers in all of D2 with his ability to finish at the rim at a high level and shoot from three at a high level. McDowell is an elite shooter who’s shooting 42% on 9 attempts a game and he’s doing that either off the dribble, from a movement three or off the catch. He’s also a skilled driver and a cutter at the rim and has one of the highest rim pressure rates, while also drawing free throws at an elite level. There’s not many players McDowell’s age and height who have had the impact he’s had and he’s been one of the most underrated players in all of college basketball.
