Catelyn hated Jon and saw him as a threat to her children. Yet, whenever one of her children wanted safety, they thought of going to the wall because Jon would protect them. When Bran crossed the wall, he knew he couldn’t go to Jon because he’d stop him to keep him safe. When Robb rebelled, Jon tried to desert the watch to help him. When he thought Arya was in danger, he broke his vows to go save her, and he died for it.

Later, Lord Commander Ser Alliser Thorne and other mutineers openly declare that Jon Snow is dead, confirming it to the Night’s Watch brothers who did not take part in the betrayal. In 2021, Amanda wrote about her late husband, All Elite Wrestling wrestler Jon Huber, also known as Brodie Lee. On his birthday, we remember his legacy: “I hope that, when people remember Jon, they mention one of the bravest things he ever did: He had unresolved trauma — and he confronted it. Daenerys suffered to raise her dragons and grew from a frightened girl into a powerful queen. This series is still one of the best ever made, easily a 10/10. The warlock tried to claim her dragons, believing he had power over the Unburnt, but he underestimated who she truly was. Khaleesi remains one of the most loved characters in Game of Thrones. Some may argue it’s Jon Snow, but I will always choose Khaleesi, even with her Targaryen cruelty. After her death, I kept wondering… is that truly the end? It’s hard to believe a character like her would never return.

Jon, Arya, and Sansa’s reunion was one of the best family moments in Game of Thrones. Jon: “I swore myself and the North to her cause.” Arya: “I respect your decision.” Sansa: ”…I respect it too.” 👀😂 You could practically see Sansa’s brain working overtime. What still annoys me is that the show never actually let us see Jon reveal his true parentage to Arya and Sansa. After building up to that moment for years, they cut away right before the reveal. And Sansa? The second she found out, she was basically sending a raven that said, “Everyone… come here. I’ve got something to tell you.” 😂 As funny as it was, that reunion reminded us why the Stark family remained the heart of the series. No matter how much the world changed them, they were always stronger together. 🥀
