Murfeesboro City Schools is suggesting John K. Amanchukwu Sr. broke the law when he confronted them last night about the inappropriate books they're putting in school libraries. So let me get this straight... It's breaking the law to hand an inappropriate library book to adults on a school board, but it's somehow legal to force little kids to learn about sexually explicit, radical gender ideology content against the will of most of their parents? How about we get back to an America where we criminalize adults who sexually exploit kids instead of the truth tellers who are fighting to protect them!

Last night, Pastor John Amanchukwu was cuffed and escorted out of a school board meeting in Wake County, North Carolina after demanding justice for Lorena Benson, a 15-year-old girl who was forced to read and discuss sexually explicit, soft-porn at school against her and her parents' wishes. John K. Amanchukwu Sr. had every right to speak, to exercise his First Amendment rights, and to reprimand the Wake County School Board for violating HB49 (Parental Rights Bill). This is UNACCEPTABLE! Calm, gracious, larger than life, he signed my copy of his book and all I could think of was ‘what a man!’ His voice raised generations and carried love, pain, hope and Africa across time. Kojo Antwi - The Icon…The Force…The Legend. My legend. I love him to bits. And yes, this book is a treasure for life. If you want to read it, go and get your own. I don’t share my books.

Taken from my bedroom window today in the Scottish Highlands in the snow ❄️ I have shared limited information about the sheer trauma that has happened to me over the last 3.5 years, and now 8 major surgeries later. I've had to be quiet about most of it. It will soon be over, and I guarantee you will read all about it. In Book 1, I wrote in Scotland this time last year for 3 months, and now in Book 2, I am here writing it now. It's only with faith, family, courage, and therapy that I've made it till now. Because the reality is that some wouldn't have, and I was nearly one. So I harnessed that pain and wrote the book, and I can't wait till you can READ ALL ABOUT IT. This part of the journey coming to Scotland to write these books has been the most cathartic healing thing I've ever done, and I cant wait for you to read my story. Love Emma ❣️

I agree with Jay Dyer. Most people simply don't ready anymore. David Wood Dr. David Wood recently admitted that if a book is more than like 200 pages he wouldn't read it. Jay actually asked me for book recommendations prior to our debate and delayed the debate so that he could read a particular book before our debate. Here are some of the books I read in preparation for my debate with Jay. Admittedly, I haven't read every single page of these books. However, I've read many of them cover to cover and key parts in others that were related to our debate.

I read… A LOT 🙃 I treat books as my little escape, I don’t watch TV, so whenever I get a quiet moment, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand. A little reading rule I swear by! If a book hasn’t hooked you by chapter four, ditch it. Life’s too short and there are too many amazing books out there. You definitely don’t need to be a big reader to enjoy these!! Some are quick, some are cosy, some you’ll think about for weeks. I’ve just whizzed through them because I’m a fast and slightly obsessive… (borderline unwell) reader. I asked ChatGPT to work out how many words I’ve read this month, and I nearly fell off my chair. Maybe I need to get out more 🤣. I’d love to know, have you read any of these? Or is there a book you swear I need to add to my list?

When I was 8 or 9 years old, I had one teacher who noticed that I really liked history. We didn’t study history at all at the time: this only started in the fourth grade. So my teacher, Yonah, excused me from some of the other classes for an hour or two each week, took me to the school library, and gave me some history books. I would just sit there and read about the Romans and the Chinese and the Mongols and the Inca. It was fascinating. The books I read as a child had a huge impact on who I became as an adult. More recently, when I wrote 'Unstoppable Us', I felt like I was writing it for my younger self. This series has one key message for kids: the world in which we live didn’t have to be the way it is. People made it what it is. And people can change it. Books can transport us to other worlds at all ages, but perhaps even more so in our childhood. What a gift to be able to slow down and enter other, perhaps less noisy worlds once in a while. Happy International Children's Book Day. #InternationalChildrensBookDay #reading
