This book, It's Perfectly Normal, is in the Asheville School District in, NC. As a matter of fact, it's in numerous school districts around the country. The board, as expected, didn't want me to read it, but 10 yeard olds can read it and view all of the pornography it propagates. Was it something I said? Or was it something I read? TODAY IN HISTORY 1960—Ruby Bridges first Black child to desegregate elementary school in New Orleans. In 2023,a Florida school banned the movie about her life. This scene makes Ron DeSantis & MAGA feel "uncomfortable." So I'm posting it here. Pass it on. Just one mother at North Shore Elementary was able to get the movie banned single handedly. Even though the movie has been a staple in the Pinellas County, Florida curriculum for years during Florida Black History Month. She said that “the use of racial slurs and scenes of white people threatening Ruby as she entered a school might result in students learning that white people hate Black people.” The same people who threw rocks at Ruby Bridges in 1960 are now upset their grandchildren might learn about the racist crap they did. #DemVoice1 #wtpBLUE #DemsUnited #ProudBlue

This is utterly ridiculous. The Watertown school district in Wisconsin just banned students from playing a song with no lyrics whatsoever. "A Mother of a Revolution" was banned because it was an old song written to honor the life of a transgender activist. Listen to the pathetic excuses these Republicans give for banning students from playing the song. "This is a perfect example of what everyone sitting at this table ran on, which was ending indoctrination in the classrooms and ending radical curriculum. The board said it violates their controversial issues policy by quote, indoctrinating kids and endorsing violence." Republicans don't care about free speech.
