Women cant have rights if they cant be held accountable for their actions.

Going into an interview saying you were 100% sure you were raped and then describing the actual details that led to the DA’s conclusion do not strike me as a contradiction, or even new information.

I'd want to see that full transcript as well as the full, sworn statement with her hand-written notes. Trying to figure out what actually happened based reporting on selected excerpts is impossible.

The DA said he couldn't release the statement at present because it would have to be redacted, which takes time.

The truth is her first statement right after it happened. The statement she says now is because she wants a payday. Its also like Clancy she wasnt insane until she survived & asked do I need a lawyer.

Sounds like we have to pick and choose when we believe all women. Just never know which version is accurate

She believed she was "raped" based on the new definition of rape made up during Woke 1.0 that claims that drunk or intoxicated people cannot consent to sex. New York law hasn't yet caught up to this new woke definition of rape.

If this is true, this changes everything I’ve said up to this point.

Sounds like a god damn mess is what it sounds like. 🙄 She reported the event though so she must have thought something wrong happened, right? There's a video of her saying it was raped. Then when it gets to a signed document, it says it was consensual. What happened here???

Perhaps she believed she was raped but the law in New York did not agree?

Maybe, but hasn't it been reported that her written statement said she considered the sex consensual? That seems in direct contradiction to the video, right? I mean arguably she could have meant *some* of the sex or the guys? What a freaking mess.

If I were this DA I would be fucking livid to find out a video existed that directly contradicted the sworn statement. That is AT LEAST worth asking about to ensure everything is on the up and up.

Did she even know what she was signing? Someone else wrote the statement based on her verbal retelling...and messed it up? She signs thinking it says essentially what her video said? DA uses the statement and thinks it's not prosecurable under law. 🤷‍♂️

Just sounds mismanaged by many. So often with sexual assault, victims get bad advice (even from so called advocates) to help them through the legal process. New York certainly has many such resources that could of greatly helped Jane Doe from the start.
