The Minister of Civil Aviation and Airport Infrastructure of Equatorial Guinea, Norberto Bartolomé Monsuy Mañe Andeme, says that the incident was caused by meteorological issues. "The plane managed to land, but the weather conditions, which included very poor visibility and rainwater on the runway, caused the plane to slide off the runway into an unsuitable area," he added.

Why did they leave the aircraft with their luggage...

Most probably operator error and not Boeing's fault.

The passengers with suitcases in an emergency is mind boggling.

Nice to see everyone got their bags off 🤦♂️

Weather /pilot error before folks start blaming Boeing

Again....bags before lives. They are so lucky there was no fire.

Uuuuuuummmmmm. Eeeeeeerrrrrrrrr. You can’t park your Boeing there mate, this is a no grazing zone🤨🤔🫢😬🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😎😎✈️

I'm so glad they could film the evacuation and have their hand luggage along during the evacuation!!
