Dr. Michael Brown did a 3.5 hour podcast in order to give his side of the story, and this was definitely the worst clip. He’s describing his relationship with a former student Sarah Monk, which he frames as father/daughter. He admits to kisses on the head and backhanded spanks. Backhanded? Yeah, sure. This would be bad enough, but the female pastor and male pastor attempt to justify this behavior as a normal part of Christian culture! Cringe!

I asked JJ Redick about this and whether or not he has also shown tape from his playing days on defense to his team. He said there has been only one time, and it was in a clip featuring LeBron James on offense with JJ defending him. “The only clip I've ever shown the team was, we were not taking charges to start the year, my first year, last year, and I wanted to get the guys incentivized to understand the importance of taking charges and using that as a means of rim protection. So I showed a clip of me taking a charge on LeBron, catching his spoon move, and it was his left elbow that went into my eye, and I got nine stitches and a concussion, but that's the one clip I've ever shown them.”

People swear this is what happened today. Imagine if this Italian boxer quit in the middle of the first round. We would’ve never seen one of the greatest comebacks in sports history. His name is Rocky Balboa (born a man). He went up against a Russian named Ivan Drago (born in a lab) who was juiced to the gills with every extra chromosome in the book. Ivan also killed a man named Apollo Creed (a former world champion/also born a man) Rocky had every reason not to take this fight and also should’ve thrown in the towel multiple times. He was outmatched with inferior size, strength, and skill. But he chose to go into the fray. Yes, he gets the absolute piss beat out of him in this clip but believe it or not he ended up winning this fight. Why? Because he has the heart of a true champion. The Italian Stallion. And I’d imagine Rocky is sick to his stomach watching the lack of fight that was displayed this morning, knowing what he’s went through in the ring. #RememberingRocky
