Not seeking to defend Nancy. He may be a disaster of an appointment but to criticise him specifically for poor defending at corners implies it’s something new. I don’t remember us defending corners well under any of our recent managers.

Yeah fair point, it’s definitely not something new but it’s fair to say he’s not improved it. I’d imagine it’s still Gavin Strachan dealing with set-pieces as he was under Rodgers and Ange.

Definitely needs to be a set pieces coach. Such an important part of the game particularly because opposing teams rely on it against us. Applies to our penalty box and opponents cos we don’t make enough use of set pieces either. If Strachan is the set pieces coach he needs to go

The worst was Sundays The marking was all over the place they left acres of space around the 6 yard box and we had the smallest guys in our team marking the biggest in st mirren’s 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Hearts goal was an outstanding header - let’s say Scales remains central, potentially gets caught under a great corner anyway. But Celtic are a shambles without CCV. Always their best player.

Schmeichel should have retired last season,you can only live off a name for so long ,it's time sinisalo was given the no1 jersey,Schmeichel's positioning from set pieces is woeful.

There was a point in 2nd half of Roma game. Celtic corner, it was delivered to a decent area. 5 Roma defenders attacked the ball and cleared. Celtic defenders watch the man, not the ball, like basketball players. You win the ball you don't concede at corners.

Why are they running back towards their own goal. Start with their back to goal and come out and attack it

Schmeichel should have saved that & St Mirren’s opener. Anything that doesn’t go dead centre sails straight past him these days. He’s so slow on his feet & barely puts out his arms as he dives.
