46-year-old Daniel Sean James has been charged with the murder of Kirandeep Kaur, who police say was sleeping in her bedroom alongside her husband and their three-month-old baby when he allegedly broke into their home and stabbed her in the chest. After the attack, he jumped from a window and broke both of his ankles before being arrested by police. James had earlier allegedly stabbed a man in his 20s in the back on Uxbridge Road at around 7:50am on 12 July. The victim survived with non-life-threatening injuries. He has also been charged with the attempted murder of the man in his 20s and possession of a bladed article. He was remanded in custody.
