ONCE AGAIN. ALL OVER AGAIN. I read a beautiful farewell message from a Kenyan High school teacher (Physics & Mathematics) to his colleagues, friends, students, and community. I also watched a short clip on the same! So moving, it reminded me how Teaching is, easily, the most importantly IMPACTFUL profession for national development. Indeed, the difference between the so-called First World and the rest is not how high buildings rose to the skies but how much of deliberate investments went into Education and Healthcare. Let me drop both items - farewell message and the clip - here! "Askum (Asalam Aleikum). As I prepare to bid farewell after 17 incredible years at Sheikh Ali High School, my heart overflows with gratitude and love for each of you. I feel both sad and happy as I write this. Sad, because I am leaving after an incredible 17 years filled with unforgettable memories and wonderful friendships. Happy, because I am joining my family and starting a new chapter in my life. Thank you all for the beautiful memories and the unwavering support. I will cherish the times we've spent together and carry them with me always. To my dedicated staff mates, your camaraderie, support, and understanding have made every day a joy. Working alongside such talented and committed individuals has been a privilege that I will always cherish. To the support staff, your tireless efforts behind the scenes have been crucial to our success. Your dedication and hard work have often gone unnoticed, but I want you to know that they have always been deeply appreciated. To all my current and former students, you have been the heart and soul of my time here. Your enthusiasm, resilience, and achievements have been a constant source of inspiration. Watching you grow and succeed has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. To the Mandera community in general and the Rhamu in particular, your love, support, and prayers have sustained me throughout my stay. You welcomed me with open arms and made Mandera feel like home. Your warmth and hospitality will always be remembered with fondness. Serving as Deputy Principal for over 10 years has been an incredible journey. Sheikh Ali High School will always remain my home. To the Secondary Schools Sports family , my experience as Secretary of Sports, KSSSA Mandera County for 14 years has been nothing short of extraordinary. The spirit, determination, and passion you have shown in sports have created some of my most cherished moments. To my dear friends, I will miss the memories we've created together. The laughter, the challenges, and the countless moments of joy have made my time here unforgettable. Your friendship has been a cornerstone of my journey, and I will carry these cherished memories with me always. Thank you all for the beautiful memories, the support, and the understanding you have shown me over the years. Mandera has been my home and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Sometimes in life, you come to realise that you are part of something much bigger than yourselfโ€”a family bound not only by blood, but by genuine love, loyalty, and brotherhood. True brothers reveal themselves when times are difficult, when standing with you is not fashionable, and when the situation demands sacrifice rather than convenience. As I continue to recover well following a major and life-threatening surgical procedure, my heart is filled with gratitude. Fellow Zimbabweans, allow me to sincerely thank two remarkable brothers who made sure that I received the best possible medical attention and care when I needed it most: Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei and Hon. Kudakwashe Mnangagwa. Without hesitation, they stepped in and ensured that I had access to specialist healthcare and the support required for a successful procedure. Their concern for my wellbeing was genuine, and their actions reminded me that true brotherhood is demonstrated through deeds, not words. I would also like to express my deepest appreciation to the team of Zimbabwean specialist doctors and medical professionals who carried out such a complex procedure with exceptional skill and professionalism. By the grace of Almighty God and through their expertise, the operation was successful, and I am now on the road to recovery. Special recognition also goes to my brother and dear friend, Mhofu Padare Padare-Enkundleni, who has stood by me every step of the way. From driving me to specialist consultations, hospital visits, reviews, and follow-up treatments, he has been a pillar of strength and unwavering support. Such loyalty and selflessness can never be taken for granted. This experience has taught me that wealth is not measured by money alone, but by the people who stand beside you during your darkest moments. I have been truly blessed by God with brothers, friends, and medical professionals who refused to let me walk this journey alone. To everyone who prayed for me, sent messages of encouragement, checked on my wellbeing, and wished me a speedy recoveryโ€”thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love, prayers, and support gave me strength when I needed it most. May the Almighty God richly bless Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei, Hon. Kudakwashe Mnangagwa, the medical team, Mhofu Padare, and every person who played a role in my recovery. Mwari ngavaropafadze zvikuru. I am forever grateful. Thank you Chitova!! Thank you Shumba!! Album is out, Iโ€™ve waited so long to share these last few years of my life with you The first song was written a little over two years ago at a really low point in my life. I had absolutely no idea what this album would sound like or if I had the energy to write it at all. The last song was written in the fall of 2025 with the most amazing team by my side and a love for music I havenโ€™t felt since before everything all popped off for the first time. I think when you dedicate your life to something you can lose yourself in the day to day stuff and forget why you chose it to begin with. I love telling stories and sharing myself with you. I love music and how itโ€™s allowed me to meet the most interesting people and see the most wonderful things in our world. Always be curious and never stop learning. Open yourself up to new people and experiences as much as you can. Talk to everyone and never assume anything. In a way this feels like the first time ive ever released music though that couldnโ€™t be farther from the truth. Thank you to the fans who have been around since the beginning, or since the ride era finished and I had to take a little time to figure out what was next, or those of you who have found me because of this new stuff. I love the shit out of you. Thank you. Thank you to my team, Darian, Joe, Mark and Tyler, Garrett, Tommy, Aimee, David and matt at Hard8, Soran, Bailey, Max, Andy, Andrew, Katie, Tano, Greg, Lily and Lili, Kristin, Jalen, Tsutai, Glen, Mikelle, Michelle, Ryan and Adam, Polis and Scott, my parents and my family, my wonderful band and touring team. Thank you to the people I am undoubtedly forgetting. The point is while itโ€™s my name on the album, dozens of people worked their asses off to bring this project to your ears. I love and appreciate every single one of them.

Yesterday my dog, Fischer, died suddenly and unexpectedly. Iโ€™m still in shock, blindsided by it all. He was as central a member of my family as any person. Iโ€™d like to tell you his story, briefly. 8 years ago, my 12-year old dog, Bandit, died after a long battle with kidney disease. A week later on a fishing trip, my brother encountered an abandoned, starving dog that swam out to his boat. When no owner could be found, I reluctantly took the dog in, and named him Fischer. Iโ€™m so glad I did. Along with his older sister, Daisy, he was my pandemic dog, my hiking buddy, and my left armrest while watching tv or gaming. He loved pawing at Red XIII (which we jokingly called him, the counterpart to my other dog, a Torgal lookalike), and he loved play fighting me while I tried to make my bed after he would crawl in it during the night. He loved playing fetch, and especially curling up against me for safety during storms. He was 90 pounds of rambunctious devotion. And God he loved me. We unknowingly spent his final morning on a hike. He chased and ran and played like usual. It was a perfect last memory with him, doing what we loved doing together most. He was โ€œa fine hound,โ€ and one of my favorite blessings. Weโ€™re going to miss him so much, but are so thankful for his life. Thatโ€™s the thing about gratitude. It commingles with grief in such a way that both can breathe. And in that way, I guess I can breathe, too. At least, thatโ€™s what Iโ€™m trying to practice. Every gasp of sadness is met with an exhale of gratitude. I know many of you loved seeing him on stream. The couch behind me may have a Red XIII-sized hole now, but Iโ€™ll always cherish the memories of us in that room. Maybe weโ€™ll do a Fischer stream and talk about grief soon, but Iโ€™ll need a minute. Today though, I want to thank you all for loving him, and me, so well. Thanks, everyone, for your prayers and support as I breathe through this.

I never imagined I would be writing something like this again. This year started with hopeโ€”I told myself I would work hard, save more, and finally have a little breathing space. But living with Sickle Cell has a way of rewriting your plans. Month after month, I found myself spending more time in hospital wards than anywhere else. Every small earning I made quietly disappeared into drugs, tests, injections, and emergency treatments. Still, I kept pushing through the pain, believing I could handle it. Living with Sickle Cell means constant hospital visits, unexpected crises, and medical bills that never seem to end. Iโ€™ve spent almost everything I earned just trying to stay afloat and manage the pain. ๐Ÿ’” Right now, I urgently need an Exchange Blood Transfusion (EBT) to help ease the pain and stabilize my health. The EBT procedure is not optional for me at this point; it is the only way to manage my condition effectively and give me a real chance at living a healthier and stable life. Unfortunately, I canโ€™t afford the cost on my own this time. My family too have put in alot trying to keep me stable. One minute, I am happy and working, the next, I am being transfused in the hospital, fighting to stay alive. Iโ€™m humbly asking for your support. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ Your donation, your prayers, and even sharing this post can make a huge difference. Unfortunately, the cost of the procedure, medications, hospital care, monitoring, and follow-up treatment is far beyond what my family and I family can afford. I am appealing to the public to help us raise this amount so I can undergo the procedure as soon as possible. No amount is too small. Your contribution can be the difference between life and tragedy. Please give me the chance to keep fighting โ€” and to keep living. Donations can be sent to: 4233533447 Zenith Bank Chiamaka Lynda Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support. I'm launching an urgent fundraiser to support engineering equipment for our frontline efforts, and I need your help. Please donate, like, share, and commentโ€”every bit of support is crucial. You can find the donation link at the end of this message. The situation on the front lines is incredibly challenging. Errors by political and military leaders, combined with slow support from the West, have led to significant losses in both territory and lives in the Pokrovsk axis. While we can't always change the decisions made by our leaders, we can make a real difference by providing our soldiers with essential engineering equipment. For instance, I personally have reservations about the operation in Kursk for my own reasons. However, I am fully committed to doing everything I can to save Ukrainian lives during this operation. Thatโ€™s why one of Liberty Ukraine Foundation ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆโ€™s excavators is already at work at the new positions on that axis. Our efforts to save soldiers' lives should remain focused regardless of individual opinions on tactical or strategic decisions made by our Ukrainian leadership. Thanks to the fundraising efforts of Liberty Ukraine Foundation ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฆ, we have already transferred or are in the process of transferring over 8 excavators. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with engineering, infantry, and artillery units reporting that this equipment is saving many lives. On both the Kursk and Pokrovsk axes, the front lines are constantly shifting, which makes the need for excavating equipment even more critical. This equipment allows our forces to adapt quickly and operate more effectively. Our goal is to raise ๐ŸŽฏ $110,000. I know this is a substantial amount, but we've successfully raised even more in the past, and this equipment is making a significant impact right now. donation link ๐Ÿ”— Thank you for your support.

On the second day of recruiting mythsโ€ฆ Myth #2: โ€œThe name on the front of your jersey doesnโ€™t matter.โ€ There is some truth here. But people usually say this to make you feel better if youโ€™re not on a team in the โ€œrecruiting bubble.โ€ And yes of course there are always outliers. If youโ€™re Montana Fouts, you could show up playing for the Butterflies and coaches would still be lined up drooling at the fence. But for most of us? The jersey does matter. Especially if you donโ€™t have true 5-star size or canโ€™t blow people away with elite metrics. I know this because Iโ€™ve been on both sides of it. Same player. Same work ethic. Completely different response from coaches. Why does the jersey matter more than people admit? First impressions. If a coach doesnโ€™t recognize your club as one that consistently produces players at their level, you have to overwhelm them with performance and numbers just to get the same look. What matters even more than the jersey name is the coach attached to it. My last club, Rising, was brand new. But my coach, Steve Appel, had a lot of successful former players at top 25 programs. Coaches knew him. Trusted him. We were at the best fields and no one cared what was on the front of our jerseys. At my first tournament with that team, I saw more college coaches than I had in my entire recruiting journey before that. Itโ€™s true. College coaches arenโ€™t recruiting a jersey. Theyโ€™re recruiting you. But your jersey affects: โ€ขwhat fields you play on โ€ขwho stops to watch โ€ขhow risky you look on paper A well-known club with proven coaches comes with built-in credibility. Can you get recruited without that? Yes. I did. But if youโ€™ve read my book, you know how many things had to line up for that to happen. So is there truth to this myth? Yes. But most of the time, when people say it, theyโ€™re trying to protect you from a harder truth: Recruiting isnโ€™t just about how good you are. Itโ€™s also about whoโ€™s willing to vouch for you. And your jersey is a powerful indicator of that before a coach sees you even pick up a ball. #RecruitingRules Rule #6: The lifeblood of recruiting is relationships. And whether you like it or not, the front of your jersey is part of that. Photo Caption: Top image my OG team, AZ Steel after winning the Colorado Sparkler Supplemental Power Pool. Bottom image with steve appel after winning PGF Nationals. My original team eventually made it into the โ€œrecruiting bubbleโ€ the summer after I committed. We were a solid competitive team at the national club level, but having played for both, no one will ever convince me that my recruiting opportunities would have been the same regardless of which jersey I was wearing. Completely different worlds. I wouldnโ€™t change my path. I ended up exactly where I always dreamed to be, and my path made me who I am, but in my case believing this myth for so long cost me time and my family money.

Eleven years ago I founded my first startup. One of the first things I did was to get a desk at the startup coworking space at Google Campus in Old Street. Through that community, I met so many of the people who would shape my career and learned so much about what the startup ethos is truly about. As we have scaled Attio, we've partnered with Google Cloud to build on top of the mind blowing technologies they've created like Spanner, Colossus and Gemini to power a new generation of CRM for our customers. For all these reasons, Google is deeply woven into my startup journey and that makes today's announcement so special to me. I'm beyond excited to announce our $52 million Series B, led by Michael McBride and the GV, along with the continued support of our incredible partners from Redpoint , Point Nine , Balderton Capital and 01A. We're entering a software renaissance driven by AI and we're unbelievably excited about continuing the hard work of delivering the next generation of CRM. We're building a truly AI-native platform that can run code, integrate anywhere and bring unified context for the next generation of autonomous workflows. None of this would have been possible without the support of the more than 5,000 customers who have already chosen Attio as the backbone of their GTM stack. Your belief in our vision is what has made this possible and I can't wait to share more about some of the incredible functionality that's still to come. I'm incredibly grateful for the continued support of alex bard , Patrick Chase, Ricardo Sequerra Amram, Daniel Waterhouse and dick costolo whose belief in Attio from the earliest days has been so essential to our progress so far and to my co-founder Nicolas Sharp, for the many sleepless nights and challenging decisions that got us this far. We've got so much still to build, and we're always hiring, so if you are interested in being part of reinventing the core of the GTM stack, please take a look at For now though, it's back to building!
