Why take all this trouble of scaling up old-fashioned AI and not just combine scaled-up LLMs with some minor symbolic parts? It is about reaching the goal and not what components you use. Everybody should use the free energy principle = minimize surprise for any solution though @KarlFristonNews #minimizesurprise

The 18th Annual AGI Conference (AGI-25) took place last month at Reykjavik University in Iceland, bringing together participants from over 80 countries to explore pioneering research on the path to AGI.
