In a recent TV interview, Vallabh Bhanshali — one of India’s most respected voices in finance and investment — offered an extraordinary assessment of Gautam Adani and the Adani Group. Bhanshali said Adani has “mastered the art of building great infrastructure at record speed and record scale.” But what stood out even more was his reflection on how Adani handled one of the toughest corporate crises in recent history — the Hindenburg episode. “When the Hindenburg attack came, it wasn’t just a blow to the Adani Group — it was a blow to the country,” Bhanshali said. “Every Adani asset was up for grabs. But Adani faced that turbulence with composure and focus. He could refinance himself because he had done the hard work — he finished projects on time, generated cash flows, and built real assets.” There’s a deeper lesson here. Adani didn’t survive the crisis because of luck or influence. He survived because of execution — because real infrastructure, finished on time, produces real cash flows. And when capital markets froze, those cash flows became his lifeline. In an era when headlines move faster than facts, Bhanshali’s words remind us that substance still triumphs over speculation. Resilience isn’t built in a moment — it’s built over decades of delivery, discipline, and daring. When a market sage like Vallabh Bhanshali praises someone, it isn’t flattery. It’s recognition. Recognition that India now has industrial leaders who can face global headwinds and still build world-class infrastructure that strengthens the nation. Speed. Scale. Steadiness. That’s the Adani formula Bhanshali wants India — and the world — to take note of.

#WATCH | At the Annual General Meeting 2026, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani says, "At Adani Energy Solutions, our transmission order book rose to Rs 72,000 crore. We secured several major projects, including the Khavda–South Olpad HVDC line, reinforcing our position as India's only private sector player with a proven HVDC capability. At Adani Power, we are implementing India's largest ever private sector power capex program of over Rs 2 lakh crore with a target of reaching 45 gigawatt of capacity over the next five years. We are also honoured to be partnering with the government of Bhutan's Druk Green Power Corporation. As a part of this partnership, the Adani Group and the DGPC will jointly develop 5,000 megawatts of hydro projects in Bhutan." He also says, "Our entry into nuclear energy through Adani Atomic Energy is another confident step towards securing India's long-term energy future. With land identified and a 10-gigawatt targeted capacity by 2035, we are positioning ourselves early to solve the growing national demand for clean round-the-clock power. At Adani Total Gas, we accelerated and crossed the significant milestone of over 1.1 million piped natural gas home connections. Given the current geopolitical situation, we are further ramping up our PNG projects to meet India's rising demand for more accessible gas. Coming to connectivity and logistics, Adani ports handle over 500 million tonnes of cargo in financial year 2025-26, setting an unmatched benchmark for the nation and creating a clear pathway to 1 billion tonnes by 2030..."
