$IO Nation, are you ready? It's time for the WINNERS of the Worker Setup Competition! Firstly - thank you to the #IOworkerarmy for sending the entries in, dozens of amazing setups, and was super hard picking the winners. However, after much consideration I've decided the TOP 3 Winners are: 1. Coin Güden Çoban 2. @Luffyy081 3. mert Congratulations on winning the 4090s! BUT that's not all. I've also decided I am going to personally buy and send all participants at least 100 IO for their contribution because everyone at $IO Nation is a winner. LFG 🚀

🚨 Paul Scholes says Arsenal are not among his Premier League title favourites: 🗣️“From what I’ve watched so far, especially after that 3-0 defeat to Brighton, I don’t see Arsenal winning the Premier League this season. They got battered. Brighton were the better team. Arsenal struggled to create clear chances and never looked like taking control. You can’t produce performances like that if you want to win the league, especially against a side willing to take the game to you. They have a very good squad — a strong defence, quality midfield and players who can change games — but I’m not seeing enough consistency or attacking threat. Arsenal look excellent at times, but winning the league is about doing it week after week. You need to win even when you’re not playing well and create and score when it’s difficult. Against Brighton they didn’t do enough. I’ll say Arsenal will finish third or fourth. That won’t go down well with their fans, but that’s my view. If they keep putting in performances like that, I don’t see them winning the Premier League. They have time to change it, but right now I wouldn’t put them among my title favourites.”

Don’t forget, the Washington Commanders didn’t care about the Ravens’ 24-game preseason win streak. That’s why they played their first-team offense against the Ravens’ second- and third-team defenses for the entire first half. That’s also why G Sam Cosmi went from saying nobody gives a “s**t” about the “stupid record" … to doing The Griddy in the end zone when his starting unit scored on Ravens backups. That’s why K Joey Slye gestured an L to the sideline after his game-winning field goal. That’s why new co-owner Magic Johnson posted about how much fun it was to break the streak. That’s why WR Jahan Dotson said in the locker room afterward: “I feel like we just had the biggest preseason win in history.” It’s all because they didn’t care.

ENGINEAI just opened registration for URKL, a global humanoid fighting league with an insane ¥10,000,000 (approx. $1.39 million) top prize. 🤖🥊 This is a massive engineering challenge focused on motion control and balance using the "T800" humanoid as the standard bot. The rules are strictly "non-violent," meaning no destructive mods are allowed. You win through better code and smarter protective gear. Here is the breakdown for teams looking to jump in: ➤ Massive Payouts: The winner takes ¥10,000,000 (approx. $1.39 million), second gets ¥2,000,000 (approx. $278,000), and third takes ¥1,000,000 (approx. $139,000). ➤ Hardware Perks: Every team that makes it into the Top 16 officially owns their T800 robot. ➤ Career Fast-Track: Top 8 finalists get a "Green Channel" straight to the final interview for job offers at ENGINEAI. ➤ Registration: Open from March 1 to April 30. Teams need at least 3 members with skills in control, electronics, or mechanical design. ➤ Global Finals: After the qualifiers, the world championship is set for December 2026 through January 2027. Once you are in, the committee hands over the simulation platform and T800 models to start training your boxing algorithms. The LIV Golf League has made major changes to the format of the Team Championship, including a preliminary round to be played on Wednesday between teams ranked 12 and 13 in the season long standings. There will also be no byes for top seeded teams. The losing team from the preliminary round will be fully eliminated and will take no further part in the competition. On Friday, there will be 6 quarter finals matches, where all 12 remaining teams will face off in head to head match play. The captains of the top seeded teams have the opportunity to choose their opponents as in previous years. The format is also the same, with 2 singles matches and 1 foursomes match, with 2 points needed to advance. On Saturday, all 12 teams will be divided into 2 brackets. The Championship Bracket, with the winning teams from Friday, and the Rankings Bracket, with the 6 teams who lost. Once again, seeded team captains can select who they play against and the format remains 2 singles matches and 1 foursomes. On Sunday, a champion will be decided and they revert back to the standard team format of the regular season, individual strokeplay with all 4 scores counting towards the team total. The 3 winning teams from the Championship Bracket will face off for the championship rings and the remaining 9 teams will play in their Rankings Brackets for minor places. Ripper GC, captained by Cam Smith will be looking to defend the title they won last season. The previous winners are Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC and Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces GC. The 2025 Team Championship will be held at The Cardinal at St John’s Resort in Michigan on August 20th-24th.

Signed arguably Leeds best player in Gray Signed arguably West Hams best player in Kudus A reject right back for us, playing reguarly for West Ham in KWP who is still one of our own, helping to save their club and would probably start ahead of Porro for us A Manager we sacked after 12 weeks in Nuno because he wasnt good enough leading West Ham to safety Tried to sign Nottingham Forests best player in MGW but messed up by approaching illegally One of the best stadiums in World football which could almost fit the entire capacities of Forest and Leeds stadium combined into ours alone Years and years and years of calling for Levys head for him to then finally leave Gifting West Ham their first win in 10 weeks of Premier League football Losing 6-0 to Nottingham Forest on aggregate this season Losing multiple players to reocurring serious injuries through misdiagnosis and rushing them back with almost every injury requiring surgical repair Our then Manager coming out at the start of the season saying Tottenham will 💯 lose games, but Arsenal wont £13m net spend in January to save the club from a financially catastrophic relegation. The fans could see the red flags of relegation, but Vivienne, Lange and Vinai couldnt Not getting a single penalty all season An entire squad of failing relegation players somehow still being selected for their national sides and playing brilliant whilst away on duty The Sporting Director we'd have rathe kept in Paratici, leaving instead of the other Sporting Director we all despise in Lange We are living and breathing witnessing the worst season in the entire history of Tottenham Hotspur as a football club. I do not understand how weve had the worst luck and the most jarring situations happen this season and what it is that we as fans have done to deserve this. Its as though weve sold our souls by winning the Europa League and now the clubs being banished to the fiery pits of hell to be incinerated into oblivion If we didnt have the injuries and had everyone fit and available, we probably finish top 8 with complete ease I wish the season ended tomorrow and we just get it over and done with and see where we play the rigged fixture against Lincoln on the opening day of the Championship season, home or away

🙏🇺🇸🙏 On October 3, 1993, during the Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia, a U.S. helicopter was shot down in hostile territory. Armed fighters quickly began moving toward the crash site. From above, two U.S. Army snipers saw what was happening. One of them was Gary Gordon. Gordon was part of the elite Ist Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta. He and his teammate requested permission to be inserted on the ground to protect the wounded crew. Command initially denied the request. The situation was too dangerous. They asked again. Denied. They asked a third time. Permission granted. With only their rifles and limited ammunition, they were dropped into the crash site, fully aware they would be surrounded. Their mission was simple: protect the injured helicopter pilot and crew for as long as possible. They secured the site and fought off wave after wave of attackers, buying critical time. Gordon ultimately gave his weapon to the wounded pilot so he could defend himself. Both soldiers were killed in action. The pilot survived. For their actions, Gary Gordon and his teammate became the first Medal of Honor recipients since the Vietnam War. He knew the odds. He went anyway. Sometimes courage isn't about winning. It's about choosing to stand your ground when others need you most. Lest We Forget. 🙏🇺🇸🙏

Tomorrow's piece: the worst single day in Roman military history. And the strange, defiant thing Rome did right after. August 2, 216 BC. Near a place called Cannae, Hannibal trapped 80,000 Romans on a flat plain by the Aufidus River and closed the trap on three sides. The Romans were packed so tight most couldn't lift a sword. The dead stayed standing....no room to fall. Some dug holes and buried their own faces rather than wait. By nightfall, up to 70,000 were dead. More Romans killed in one afternoon than in any battle before or since. Hannibal's own general begged him to march on an undefended Rome. He refused. What Rome did next is the part nobody teaches. The surviving consul rode home ....and the Senate thanked him. Not for winning. For refusing to despair. That's tomorrow's piece - the full story, and what it still has to say about how you deal with a horrible day. Every generation thinks the world is ending. It never is. Bryson DeChambeau’s next event after LIV Golf Andalucia is the US Open, where he’ll attempt to win his 3rd gold medal. He spoke to Flushing It Golf at Valderrama about his preparation ahead of Shinnecock Hills and whether he feels any pressure after missing the last 2 cuts in majors: “Well, Valderrama is a ball striker's golf course. So you have to control your golf ball and hit the right shots under the gun with a lot of wind out here. It really is a great ball strikers paradise. The same as, you know, in the US Open. I think this is a great test.” Bryson shot rounds of 70, 71, 71 and 70 to finish T11 at Valderrama. Does he feel any pressure to perform after missing the cut at the Masters and the PGA Championship? “No. To be honest, missed cuts are gonna happen. I might miss all 4 of them in majors this year. That's just golf. Like, I’m playing great. I just haven't shown up when it mattered most. But I've played well out here on LIV, and I’m working on my golf swing really hard, and, I feel like it's in a really solid place. It's very close to some of my best golf ever. “Last week (in Korea) I had a great opportunity to win for the third time this year and didn't close the door. And that's just more learning, you know, if I had a little bit more knowledge of what to do in the golf swing, to get the ball to go straight in a few scenarios. I could have taken that championship down too. “So, I feel like I'm actually playing the most consistent I've ever played on LIV, which is great. And I think it's attributed to the switch to four rounds. No question.” Bryson says he’s going to head to Shinnecock early to get some extended work in and thinks it will be a huge benefit after not playing the course since the 2018 US Open. If he were to win it, he would join Tiger Woods and Hale Irwin as the only players to win 3 gold medals. It would also put him just 1 championship shy of equalling the all time US Open winners record of 4, held by Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones and Willie Anderson. So, as he’s a great student of golf history, does he ever think about it? “I'm very blessed to have done what I've done so far. But I'm still trying to pursue as many wins as I can, and, with the time and opportunity, I’d love to have a chance to win some more.” Bryson DeChambeau Crushers GC LIV Golf U.S. Open

Iran fired two ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia this week. That’s a tiny British-American dot in the Indian Ocean that most people couldn’t find on a map, which is precisely why it matters. The range was 4,000 kilometers. Four thousand. To put that in perspective, 4,000 kilometers from Tehran gets you to Rome. Athens. Cairo. Southern Europe is well within reach. London and Paris are further, but don’t sleep too well either. This is not what Tehran told anyone their missiles could do. So either they’ve been lying, or the intelligence community has been spectacularly wrong. Possibly both. One missile failed mid-flight, which is the kind of thing that happens when you build intercontinental weapons in a country that can’t keep the lights on. The other was shot down by a U.S. warship with an SM-3 interceptor, which Trump has already counted as winning the war. For the third time. Now here’s the bit nobody wants to say out loud: the strike came hours after Britain’s Keir Starmer gave Washington permission to use Diego Garcia to bomb Iranian missile sites. So Iran bombed the base we lent them. With a missile nobody knew they had. The war just acquired a completely new dimension. And the man in the White House is busy declaring victory. Iran decides when this stops. Not him. Gandalv / Gandalv
