Morpho v2 went live today - deploying a new vault can create up to 12 contracts (instead of just the vault, as v1 did) 🤯 Here's what you NEED to know about what's new: - Users can now force withdraw out of a vault even if there is no idle liquidity, using forceDellocate. This withdraws any underlying held positions, even if the vault doesn't have any USDC to withdraw. There is a penalty fee that can be set by curators per position (currently set to 0 by everyone). - Adapters allow Vaults v2 to work with any other contract out there, and require deploying a new adapter contract for every contract. The new Steakhouse high yield instant was deployed with a single adapter around their v1 vault. This means that v2 vaults are no longer limited to just Morpho markets. - Vaults can optionally be deployed with "guardians", turning all operations into an onchain DAO. There are two DAO's created, a guardian DAO where depositers can lock their shares to vote (i.e. revoking a proposed asset cap allocation change), and a 2-2 owner dao between the vault owner and the guardian dao. This is optional but the steakhouse vaults were deployed with this live (using createV1WrapperWithAdditionalGuardian). - Timelocks are now set per function signature, so different vault functions can have different timelocks applied!! short vid of how I used Herd to sleuth all this below:

How to use AnodoSwap? Follow this step-by-step guide and watch our video tutorial. 1. Go to and add the GemWallet extension on your browser by clicking download. Go to and where it says "Choose Network:" choose the "Devnet" option and click "Generate Devnet credentials". 3. Copy the Secret, Open GemWallet, click Import Existing Wallet, choose Family Seed and then Paste the Secret there and confirm. Insert your own password. Then click the "Mainnet" on the top right and click/change to "Devnet". Your devnet account has 10,000 devnet XRP loaded and ready to be used. 4. Go to our web app, click "Login" and then choose "GEM Wallet" and approve the 2 transactions that will come out on the wallet. You are now logged in. 5. 140 of the biggest financial firms on Earth just teamed up to assassinate ONE company. The same company they helped BUILD for 7 years. BlackRock, Coinbase, Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, BNY Mellon, and Google all showed up to sign the kill order: Yesterday, a consortium of over 140 financial firms launched a new stablecoin called Open USD. The target: Circle Internet Group, the $17 billion company behind USDC. Circle stock crashed 17.5% in a single trading session and closed near $62. It is now down more than 40% in 30 days from its May high of $138. But this is NOT a story about a competitor showing up... This is about a company getting assassinated by the exact partners it depended on to survive. Here is how deep the betrayal goes: Coinbase and Circle co-founded USDC together in 2018. They built the stablecoin as partners through the Centre Consortium. In 2024 alone, Circle paid Coinbase $908 million as a distribution fee for hosting USDC on the Coinbase platform. That revenue-sharing agreement expires in August 2026. Six weeks before that renewal, Coinbase publicly signed onto a project designed to make USDC obsolete. BlackRock literally manages Circle's reserves. The world's largest asset manager has been sitting on the $73.6 billion in US Treasuries backing USDC but joined a consortium built to redirect that interest income to other partners instead of Circle. BNY Mellon is Circle's custody bank. Same playbook here. Custody by day, competitor by night. And Open USD is launching natively on Base, which is Coinbase's own blockchain. Coinbase is literally constructing the rails to replace USDC on the chain Coinbase owns. And what makes it worse: 99% of Circle's 2024 revenue came from interest earned on those Treasury reserves. That is the entire business model. Take user dollars, park them in short-term T-bills, keep the yield. Open USD's pitch to the market is a single sentence: Partners keep the yield instead of Circle. Zero minting fees or redemption fees. Almost all the interest income flows back to the 140 companies distributing the coin. Every "partner" that gave Circle its network effect just realized they had been paying Circle to do something they could do themselves. The interim CEO of Open Standard is Zach Abrams, the co-founder of Bridge, the stablecoin infrastructure firm Stripe acquired for $1.1 billion in 2024. Stripe's stablecoin acquisition is now running the coordinated hit against Circle as well. Circle's own CEO Jeremy Allaire went on the record calling USDC "the most trusted, widely adopted stablecoin globally" and welcoming the competition. That is the polite corporate translation for "our largest revenue-sharing partner just publicly announced they no longer need us." Citi projects the stablecoin market will hit $4 trillion by 2030. 140 companies looked at that number, looked at how much of it Circle was keeping, and coordinated to take it. The exchanges that gave USDC liquidity, the banks that gave USDC legitimacy, the card networks that gave USDC distribution, and the asset managers that gave USDC credibility... DON'T LET YOUR BITCOIN DIE WITH YOU 💀 ⚰️ Yea look, nobody likes to admit it but we all have to die one day. As I've been talking to people about their self custody lately - both Casa members and not - I hear the same thing over and over. "What happens if I die?" Many people feel pretty good about their bitcoin security for themselves. But their family members often have no idea how to use this stuff. Hardware wallet? Seed phrase stamped on metal? Shamir's secret sharing backups using SD cards, a passphrase, and a treasure hunt through the backyard with a shovel? 😵 We're solving that problem for all Casa members, starting today with Casa Inheritance. A key design principle we kept while building this was to make it as simple as possible for Recipients (your family members that will receive your bitcoin if you pass), while maintaining Casa-level security. An estate transfer is already a stressful time for family, and it can become even more stressful if you add in a crazy treasure hunt to access a fortune in bitcoin. For our basic 3 key vaults, we wanted it to be as easy as using the app. No metal plates, no need to use a hardware wallet, no magic passwords you have to keep track of or else risk messing up the asset transfer. Simplicity is security. So how does it work, in detail? A Vault Owner (Casa member) designates a Recipient (their family or friend) in the Casa app. The Recipient receives an invite to create a free Casa account. The Recipient scans a QR code provided by the Vault Owner, which contains an encrypted version of the owner's mobile key. This encrypted key is only able to be imported by the Recipient's Casa account, and the Recipient can't initially use it or see the vault balance. If the Vault Owner passes away, the Recipient can request access to the vault in their Casa app. This starts a 6 month timer, and sends a ton of notifications every month to the owner. If the owner is still alive, they can reject the request in app. If they are not, the timer will run out. When it does, the Recipient will be able to use the shared mobile key and the request a signature from the Casa Recovery Key for the shared vault. This gives them 2 out of 3 signatures, enough to access the assets. For 5 key vault users, one hardware key is shared with the Recipient. This small increase in friction for Recipients is often worth it for the increased security and resilience of a 5 key vault for larger holdings. To summarize now that you have the details: 1. Share keys and vault access during setup 2. 6 month timelock to ensure no malicious theft 3. Use shared keys and Casa key to access assets Full setup takes less than 5 minutes. Inheritance is one of the biggest problems in self custody today. If you've hodled through years of painful bear markets, you owe it to yourself and your family to not let the reward for that patience go to zero because you didn't have a plan - and we're here to make that easy.
