Avowed | Hands-On Preview Details ▪️You play as the "Envoy", a fully customizable character traveling to the "Living Lands" (the setting of the game) on orders from the leader of the Aedyr Empire, a nation of humans and elves ▪️The Living Lands have a sort of Wild West frontier vibe where people head there in search of a better life, full of "rough and tumble" type inhabitants ▪️As the emperor's Envoy, most people immediately look at with mild distrust or full hostility as they see the Aedyr Empire trying to establish a foothold there ▪️You are sent there to investigate the "Dream Scourge", a soul plague that's infecting everything, and you need to learn how to stop it ▪️The game is not fully open world, but is made up of "open zones" that are large and interconnected, similar to The Outer Worlds ▪️Obsidian has made it a focus that each area is fully handcrafted and has interesting things to do, bandit camps, ruins to explore, half-destroyed hovels, undead soldiers, etc ▪️Features an open class approach to combat, where your backstory (war hero, arcane scholar, etc) determines your starting weapon, but you can find other options as you play like spears, swords, shields, pistols and can freely wield them ▪️You can store two weapon loadouts at a time and swap between them instantly, including mid-attack combo ▪️Hitting enemies damages health and also builds up a stagger meter that leaves them stunned when maxed out, allowing to do weapon-specific special moves for a lot of damage ▪️You can sneak around stealthily and get enemies from behind or use the environment to your advantage (like shooting fiery berries to start a fire) ▪️Some encounters can be bypassed entirely through stealth, or through dialogue convos if you have the right stats ▪️Combat is described as fast and fluid, managing your stamina meter to dictate your attacks, dodging unblockable enemy attacks, charging up your weapons for stronger hits, and being able to dual-wield like double swords, spear and pistol, etc "always feels like you have something up your sleeve" ▪️Some previewers however felt the combat was also "undeniably on the easy side" ▪️Eurogamer worries the Living Lands might not be as strange as Obsidian hopes it feels like, as there was nothing that popped out as unique or wildly original ▪️Structured leveling system, spend skill points in named skill trees like "Fighter" or "Ranger" ▪️Unlock special abilities that run on cooldown timers, mix and match different skills like the Fighter's dash-tackle and the Ranger's magic vines that entangles enemies ▪️There are many choices to make in the game, like happening upon a smuggler in a cage in the first outpost you encounter, whereby she's immediately distrustful of you, and it's up to you whether to release her or not ▪️One of the first places you visit is "Paradis", the main hub/point of civilization in the Living Lands, and you have to find the "clavager", essentially the town's mayor who went off to investigate some Dream Scourge reports ▪️After that, you're free to explore wherever you like, sidequests immediately become available, and they will impact your main story and vice versa ▪️Choices in sidequests "heavily impact individual characters, groups of characters, and entire settlements, factions of people, and the states of the regions that you go through. They will also impact the choices that are even available to you. Later in the game, you'll be locked or locked out of or presented with new choices based on the choices you made much earlier in the game" ▪️Exploring off the beaten path can often be rewarding, like happening upon a ruined tower that doesn't show up as any icon on the map. Investigating it triggered tripwire traps with swinging blades, inviting phantom enemies, and climbing up to the end revealed a chest with a high-quality piece of armor ▪️You can set up camps in different areas and talk to your companions, learn their backstories, etc which are all optional ▪️Writing is more grounded compared to the "relentless zaniness of The Outer Worlds", though still retains Obsidian's trademark humor but feels more natural to dialogue and less pressured to be quippy and quirky ▪️Kai, the bluish-green "Aumaua" companion from past footage, accompanies you early on. Companions are a 'constant presence', commenting on landmarks you pass by, during combat, and "generally feeling like a fellow traveler rather than trailing quietly behind you" Gamespot: Eurogamer: IGN: #Avowed #Xbox

I've been asked to review and provide thoughts on the question of a potential targeting call in the Hardin-Simmons Cowboy Football / UMHB Football🏈 #d3fb game Saturday. I have synced up two videos -- one from UMHB's broadcast and one posted by In The (D3FB) Huddle contributor Riley Conlee (Riley Conlee) (if he could provide credit to the videographer of it, I'd appreciate it). There is a full-speed view and a 20% speed view of the central action included in the video. To evaluate targeting, we have to review both aspects of the rule to see what, if anything, qualifies. I want to provide the entire set of rules (9-1-3 & 9-1-4): "Targeting and Making Forcible Contact With the Crown of the Helmet ARTICLE 3. No player shall target and make forcible contact against an opponent with the crown of their helmet. The crown of the helmet is the top segment of the helmet; namely, the circular area defined by a 6-inch radius from the apex (top) of the helmet. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul. (Rule 9-6) (A.R. 9-1-3-I) Targeting and Making Forcible Contact to Head or Neck Area of a Defenseless Player ARTICLE 4. No player shall target and make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent (See Note 2 below) with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder. This foul requires that there be at least one indicator of targeting (See Note 1 below). When in question, it is a foul (Rules 2-27-14 and 9-6). (A.R. 9-1-4-I-VI) Note 1: “Targeting” means that a player takes aim at an opponent for purposes of attacking with forcible contact that goes beyond making a legal tackle or a legal block or playing the ball. Some indicators of targeting include but are not limited to: - Launch. A player leaving their feet to attack an opponent by an upward and forward thrust of the body to make forcible contact in the head or neck area. - A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground. - Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area. - Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet. Note 2: Defenseless player (Rule 2-27-14). When in question, a player is defenseless. Examples of defenseless players include but are not limited to: - A player in the act of or just after throwing a pass. This includes an offensive player in a passing posture with focus downfield. - A receiver attempting to catch a forward pass or in position to receive a backward pass, or one who has completed a catch and has not had time to protect themselves or has not clearly become a ball carrier. - A kicker in the act of or just after kicking a ball, or during the kick or the return. - A kick returner attempting to catch or recover a kick, or one who has completed a catch or recovery and has not had time to protect themselves or has not clearly become a ball carrier. - A player on the ground. - A player obviously out of the play. - A player who receives a blind-side block. - A ball carrier already in the grasp of an opponent and whose forward progress has been stopped. - A quarterback any time after a change of possession - A ball carrier who has obviously given themselves up and is sliding feet- first. - A player attempting to recover a loose ball." We need to start at Note 2 to see if Kyle Brown qualified here as a "defenseless player." If not, then 9-1-4 would not apply to him here. Kyle was not a receiver or a passer per se here -- he was clearly a runner downfield and was not in the grasp of any player. As a result, he was not "defenseless" by definition. That means that the only way targeting can be called here is if the provisions of Rule 9-1-3 were violated. Rule 9-1-3 is VERY specific about the initial requirement before we can go to the question of a required indicator: "No player shall target and make forcible contact against an opponent with the crown of their helmet." The crown of the helmet is "the top segment of the helmet, specifically the circular area with a 6-inch radius from the apex (top) of the helmet." In the videos, we see a couple of telling signs. First, Kyle appeared to actually lower HIS helmet as the contact became imminent, which is something coaches advise against for a variety of reasons, including self-preservation. But what is telling is that the UMHB defender attempted to peel off as he saw the angle of the contact he was heading toward with Brown. Specifically, he appeared to end up perpendicular to Brown, perhaps catching Brown's facemask enough to cause the helmet to fly. Yet, that contact was NOT with the defender's crown. As a result, since Brown was not defenseless by rule and because the crown of the helmet was not used for forcible contact to the head/neck area, the picking up of the flag by the officials was appropriate. That said, I spoke with an official who reviewed the videos without commentary and who landed in the same spot as I did concerning the above. They stated that if immediate replay review was available, crews will generally throw the flag and go to review (here, it likely would have been overturned by review, preserving the defender's eligibility). Since the ASC is not providing the on-field replay review yet, the officials' decision would have impacted the game by ejecting a player for the last 6 minutes of the first half until a Halftime review would have been available. For those wondering about how replay is impacting the game, I think this is a good reminder of the nuances it can impact.

Y Passport is finally live! Download the Y Passport app and grow your Y Passport Score to gain future access to exclusive airdrops. Airdrops are broken. In 54 out of 62 major airdrops, distributing a total of $19 billion, many tokens ended up in wallets with no interest in contributing to the ecosystem, only in cashing out. This hurt projects, which essentially threw money away, as well as users, who ended up receiving less than they should have. Y is here to change that. We speak from experience. We’ve gathered 14 million users in our community who complete tasks and earn Y Points. How many are bots? We’ll find out soon. Our next step: launching an exclusive airdrop platform within the app soon. A platform that will connect great projects with real people. Thanks to the Y Passport Score, projects will get access to the users they truly need, and our users will receive what used to go to bots. What kind of digital identity are we building? An identity built on a user’s digital footprint, not body scanning. You can grow your Y Passport Score by verifying your Web2 (social media, Google, Apple accounts) and (soon) Web3 (wallet activity) presence. Additionally, you can scan your biometric passport using your phone’s NFC chip. We will add new ways of verification every week. An identity controlled by you, not anybody else. Make it private, make it public, you decide. No verifications are mandatory, you choose what to verify and can remove any verification at any time. An identity stored by you, not anybody else. We do not store any data from credentials you add to Y Passport nor gain access to your social media accounts. For verification of real world credentials we use Zero-Knowledge Proofs, which means we can confirm certain personal information (e.g., that a user is over 18) without knowing exact details (e.g., the user’s date of birth). An identity that won’t disappear. All public data is not stored on our servers, instead it’s recorded on the blockchain via EAS (Ethereum Attestation Service). Download Y, complete onchain verifications, collect Y Points, and stay tuned. Exclusive airdrops are coming soon!

This video shows the largest American military bases where weapons are stored (above) and what lack of weapons leads to in Ukraine (below). The First Cold War forced the United States to arm itself on a colossal scale. But after the collapse of the USSR, most of this armament was mothballed. ◾️Davis-Monthan Air Force Base It is the largest aircraft storage base. There are 4,400 airplanes and helicopters on an area of 10.5 km². There is everything: from cargo planes to B-52 bombers, military transport Hercules aircraft and F-14 Tomcat fighter-interceptor jets. Although the airbase has been called a "graveyard" of airplanes, new models are also stored here. Technicians regularly check the engines and other equipment to make sure everything is operating smoothly. ◾️Sierra Army and Military Equipment Depot Sierra Army Depot is roughly estimated to store 1,440 M-1 Abrams tanks, 503 M-2 Bradley IFVs, 738 M-113 armored personnel carriers and M-577 command vehicles, 98 M-109 155mm self-propelled howitzers, 209 M-119 105mm towed howitzers, and 110 M-198 155mm towed howitzers. Ukraine is immensely grateful to our Allies for standing with us and providing us with weapons. But, to be completely honest, on a personal level, when I see videos and photos from there, I can't help thinking that if Ukraine had received these weapons, the war would have been stopped and won. The West has all the necessary resources to defeat Russia quickly. However, fear, different political interests, lack of unity, Russia's skillful play on weaknesses, intimidation, bribery hold the West back. Sooner or later, Russia will be stopped and defeated. But Ukraine has already paid a huge price with the lives of its people. And this price grows higher and higher every day. Ukraine needs weapons. Weapons of victory. And as soon as possible, not one drop at a time.

Tiago Forte has pioneered the concept of a Second Brain. As the author of two books, he's learned that quantity and quality aren't opposing forces. Here's what else he's taught me about writing: 1. The brain is for having ideas, not storing them. Write stuff down. 2. If you really want to learn something, don't just consume information. Create something about it. 3. Note-taking is a form of time-travel. You don’t just take notes to remember ideas. You also take notes to remember experiences. Reading your notes takes you back to a different state of consciousness. Note-taking is a rebellion against the entropy of memory. 4. Save only the best notes: Don't hoard information. Save only the top 5-10% of your ideas. That way, you can trust that everything in your note-taking system is high-quality. 5. Tiago’s dad is an artist who taught him an important lesson: the energy to create art can dissipate in small, invisible ways if you let it. Set up a structure where you have the peace of mind and the bandwidth to do art. 6. The ultimate goal of note-taking is to improve your ideas. Too many people treat note-taking as an end in itself. But the goal of note-taking isn’t to save information. It’s to have ideas you wouldn’t have had otherwise. To be smarter, faster, and more creative. 7. Link notes together. Organize your ideas by topic, not by source. As you browse your note-taking system, consider the serendipity you want to create for your future self. For example, if you read two books about a topic, link those notes together. 8. In school, we’re taught to research before we write. Do the opposite. Compile notes over time. Then, once you have an idea, start writing immediately — right when you have an epiphany. Start researching after you've written a draft. 9. Create evergreen notes. Like a good investment, the benefits of your note-taking system should compound in value. Save ideas that will stay relevant for many years. Read the classics, skip the news. 10. Tiago publicly tested every idea in his book. For most, the internet is a blackhole of distraction. But it can instead be used as a place to do low-stakes experiments before you go all in. 11. The more expensive the location for a writer's retreat, the more it forces you to be productive. 12. "Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work." — Gustave Flaubert, one of Tiago's favorite quotes. 13. The less formal and “official” a software program feels, the better Tiago writes. And he believes some of the best turns of phrase come out in messaging apps with friends. Stuck on something? Close the word doc and text a friend about it. 14. Every time you compress an idea, you make it more accessible. But you also lose context, depth, and nuance. 15. The ultimate test of how well you understand something is how clearly you can explain it in writing — clear writers are clear thinkers. 16. Twitter can help too. Stuck on a paragraph while writing your book? Well, send a tweet about it. If the idea resonates, bring it into your book. 17. Too many choices can cloud our creative process. The key to making progress is knowing when to take in new information and when to shut off all sources of distraction. Divergence and Convergence. 18. Anything you might want to accomplish—executing a project at work, getting a new job, learning a new skill, starting a business—requires finding and putting to use the right information. 19. Instead of working in “Heavy Lifts,” you can work in “Slow Burns.” Taking notes makes you less dependent on those long blocks of creative time you need when you have to complete creative projects in a single sitting. 20. Tiago: “If I could leave you with one last bit of advice, it is to chase what excites you.” 21. A bonus: “Run after your obsessions with everything you have. Just be sure to take notes along the way.” I've shared the full conversation with Tiago Forte here. If you'd rather listen on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple, check out the replies below.

Prince William carved out a unique chapter in his life by serving as an air ambulance pilot. This role, far from the pomp and ceremony, showcased a different facet of the future king: one of service, skill, and a commitment to saving lives 🚁🚑❤️‍🩹 His journey into the world of aviation began with his training in the RAF, where he qualified as a search and rescue pilot. This training equipped him with the skills to navigate and operate in high-pressure situations, skills that would later prove invaluable in his civilian role. From 2015 to 2017, Prince William joined the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) as a pilot. Here, he was not just a royal but an active, hands-on member of the team. His days were spent flying the helicopter that ferried critical care teams to accident scenes and hospitals, often under challenging conditions, even at times he assisted with CPR ❤️ This job required not only technical flying prowess but also a deep understanding of medical emergencies, as he needed to coordinate with paramedics and doctors during flights and on the ground. William's role with the East Anglian Air Ambulance involved responding to a range of traumatic incidents, including severe road traffic accidents, medical emergencies like heart attacks, and suicide attempts 😔 Many experiences deeply affected his mental and emotional state. One particularly traumatic incident involved a young boy called Bobby Hughes, critically injured in a car accident. This event, among others, led William to internalise the trauma, realising he was "taking home people's trauma, people's sadness," which significantly impacted his mental health 🥺 Despite the emotional toll, these experiences underscored his commitment to public service, showcasing his ability to connect with people on a human level, far beyond his royal duties. His work not only highlighted the challenges of dealing with life-and-death situations but also his resilience and dedication to mental health advocacy, influencing his public engagements and advocacy work post-piloting with initiatives like Heads Together, @GiveUsAShout 💜 and The Mental Health at Work Commitment for The Emergency Services – an unprecedented agreement signed by senior leaders across UK emergency services to implement a uniform set of mental health standards to support their 400,000 staff. The commitment forms part of the Blue Light Together package of mental health support that gives emergency responders, their friends, families and retirees access to a resource website providing specialised mental health information, therapists & advice. 🚑🚓🚒🚁 The prince's tenure with the EAAA was marked by humility and dedication. He often spoke of the privilege of being part of a team that made a tangible difference in people's lives, sometimes literally saving them. 🫡 His colleagues praised his professionalism, noting that he was treated like any other pilot, with no special treatment despite his royal status and he’s a highly respected & skilled pilot. This role allowed William to connect with the public in a profoundly human way. It wasn't about royal engagements or ceremonial duties; it was about being there in moments of crisis, offering medical assistance when it was most needed. His work highlighted the importance of public service and the impact one can have when they choose to use their skills for the greater good 😊 His time as an air ambulance pilot was not just a job; it was a testament to his character, showing a man who, despite his royal lineage, sought to serve his country in the most direct and impactful way possible. This experience undoubtedly shaped his perspective on life, duty, and the value of every individual, reinforcing his commitment to public service in all its forms. You’re worried about Danielle and NewJeans, Right? Part 1 ( by soseolhee ( I’ve received an overwhelming number of DMs over the past couple of days saying the same thing... that people are really concerned. If I’m being completely honest, though, I actually feel a bit hopeful. On December 18, I attended the court hearing involving CEO Min Hee-jin. I took very detailed notes, about 27 pages of A4 paper, documenting nearly all of the questioning that took place during the trial. Toward the latter part of the hearing, the plaintiff suddenly shifted to questions that had nothing to do with the actual case. Instead, they began focusing on the parents of the NewJeans members. They asked things like whether Min Hee-jin helped write the protest letters the parents sent to HYBE, or whether she led or orchestrated the members’ live broadcasts. The moment I heard this, I thought, They’re clearly trying to build a tampering narrative. The questioning continued in the same vein. They asked who had sent a protest letter under a specific member’s parent’s name, and who wrote the document listing ten demands that had been prepared over a 14-month period. None of this had any real connection to the case at hand. It went so far that even the judge intervened and strongly reprimanded them, saying, “These matters are irrelevant. Why are you asking questions here that should be directed at the parents of NewJeans?” Then, on the 29th, when I saw the news about ADOR issuing a unilateral termination notice, everything suddenly clicked. The picture became very clear: they are trying to pin a tampering narrative on Min Hee-jin by focusing on one specific member, so they can later use it, whether in relation to the shareholder agreement or in their final arguments. That’s because the official statement explicitly says they intend to hold one of Danielle’s parents and Min Hee-jin legally responsible. At first glance, you might wonder, “Why is Min Hee-jin suddenly being dragged into this?” But when you think back to the line of questioning during the trial, the answer becomes obvious. This isn’t really about cutting Danielle out. The real objective is to separate Min Hee-jin. And that naturally leads to another question. --- You’re worried about Danielle and NewJeans, Right? Part 2 ( Some people might ask whether it really makes sense to damage an IP as valuable as NewJeans just to split the group apart. But if you look at it from HYBE’s perspective, their actions do follow a certain internal logic. You might also be wondering, “Why do you see this situation in a hopeful way?” Yesterday, I came across an article explaining that contract termination is only possible when there has been conduct that fundamentally destroys the relationship of trust. The key point here is that Danielle has already clearly expressed her intention to return to the agency. In group activities, each member’s individuality is recognized, but the core of the contract is the group itself. Because of that, if ADOR were to unilaterally exclude just one member, it could constitute a breach of contract with respect to the remaining members as well. Moreover, if the remaining members demand full-group activities, ADOR could face a counterattack, as they may be legally obligated to comply with that demand. For these reasons, I believe there is a very high possibility that Danielle does not fall under any contract-violation scenario. According to the December 31 broadcast of Kim Sung-soo TV, as explained by Kim Sung-soo, a certified letter Danielle received from ADOR listed one of the grounds for contract termination as follows: Danielle’s parent had lost their phone, and questions were raised about why that phone was replaced. When you think about it, it makes no sense that changing a phone could be grounds for terminating a contract with an agency. Why should an agency have control over, or even access to, a phone that contains the private lives of an artist and their family? And even before that, if the phone hadn’t been changed, what exactly were they planning to do with it? After attending CEO Min Hee-jin’s trial in person, what stood out to me was that nearly all of the evidence presented by the plaintiff consisted of her KakaoTalk messages. A significant portion of those messages were conversations that took place even before ADOR was established in 2021. As for the messages exchanged after that, they were used by selectively cutting out context and stitching together fragments that were completely unrelated to the actual issues. Of course, the final judgment is up to the judge, and this is just my personal impression based on what I observed. Still, because it is highly likely that Danielle does not meet the criteria for contract violation, I believe the other side is using this as a stalling tactic, a strategic misstep meant to drag things out. In the end, I believe this fight will move in a direction where NewJeans comes out on top. What we can do is simple: stream NewJeans’ albums and support them loudly as fans. As I mentioned earlier, I compiled 27 pages of court records from attending the trial. Going forward, I plan to gradually share the most important parts of those records. Recently I got some hands-on time with Crimson Desert and below are my first impressions as well as some of the gameplay I was able to capture. Crimson Desert is a good game, but it won’t be for everyone. I know the devs claim this isn’t an RPG, but I don’t know any other way to describe this game other than a HARDCORE action RPG. If you need the yellow paint to know where to climb this game isn’t for you. But if you love getting lost in a whimsical world with a boat load of content this game is going to be right up your alley. I think what impressed me most is the attention to detail. There’s so many little things the dev team took into consideration that I think people who enjoy being immersed into a world are going to appreciate. Even if you aren’t that person; on a basic level I think most will enjoy the game's combat. It’s fast, fluid and provides a ton of player expression with its deep skill tree. The world of Pywel is vibrant, large in scale and full of life. It’s easy to get lost off the main quest line as there’s always something to do and someone to speak to. An example being I was wandering through the open world and encountered a distressed woman seeking help. I agreed to follow her only to find out moments later she was with a gang and they were trying to back door me. That had me cracking up. I think if the open world is consistently full of fun, unique side content like that & the main quest line is fire this game has a lot of potential to impress. It’s just a shame that I didn’t get to spend more time with the main quests as I kept getting side tracked with cool stuff to do in the open world. So I can’t give you much insight into that. What I can say is after the opening section there’s NEXT TO NO tutorials in this game, the puzzles are hard & the default controls are a bit clunky. You will be getting lost and I can see that frustrating some people who aren’t interested in a challenge. That’s why I mentioned earlier that this is a hardcore RPG. It does not do a lot of hand holding. Because of that I predict you and your friends will be sharing tips and tricks similar to when Elden Ring first launched and nobody knew what they were doing. If you are a patient person and take the time to learn the game's systems I promise you will be able to put together some awesome combos that will make you feel like the main character. My biggest fear for this game is that I won't finish it. Not because it’s a bad game, but I can just tell from my brief time with it that it’s next level massive. As someone who's been gaming for 30+ years it’s very rare you’ll hear me say a game was overwhelming, but this game is. For people who lack a ton of free time I can see that being a turn off because once again the game doesn’t give much direction or tutorials outside the opening area. Not to mention this game could be big just for the sake of being big. I was curious to know how much of the content was engaging versus just open world bloat? Hard to tell because I only got a few hours with the game. I also fear that the Ai isn’t the best in this game. The Ai issues I encountered zapped all immersion away for those moments. I’m not sure if the final build will differ from the vertical slice we played, but what I can tell you is that on the build we played I wasn’t impressed by the Ai. Several times I attacked enemy camps and they never reacted to me attacking them. They just stood there and took it which made the world feel less alive. There were also times where enemies were looking dead at me just standing still as the battle music played threatening to beat me up, but they never did anything. It was 3 or 4 times I encountered this poor Ai which is a red flag for me because I only got two hours of hands on time with the game. Mind you in those two hours a good portion of it was just me working my way through the prologue and the early quests, so I didn't spend a ton of time in the open world. What I'm trying to get at is the janky ai was very noticeable. It wasn't something that took long to find. I will say when the game works it's great, but when I tell you the Ai was bad at times it was bad. It reminded me of the dumb NPC’s often found in Ubisoft open world games. I’m not looking for this to be a Souls game but I want some level of challenge in the combat. Hopefully that stuff gets patched out. That being said, I’m confident in saying this game is good. I just didn’t have enough time with it to determine if it’s good, or GREAT. Only time will tell when Crimson Desert drops on March 19th, 2026 for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. Pros —---------- - Combat makes you feel like demon - Deep Skill tree - Vibrant world - Solid voice acting - Fire OST - The little details (trust system, you can commit crimes ect.) - No Fall damage - Puzzles are creative & challenging - Game doesn’t hold you hand (some people will hate this) - You can swap in and out of 3rd and 1st person at will. Wasn’t able to explore much of how that changes the game, but it’s nice that it's an option. - EASILY over 100hrs of content (some will hate this though) Cons —---------- - Clunky controls (Default controls take some time adjusting too. I hope there’s other control schemes at launch) - Inconsistent Ai (Ubisoft bad at times. sometimes the enemies wouldn’t attack during combat or act like they never saw you) - Long load times (we were playing on PC’s, but idk the specs) - Your horse can faint & when they do traveling the large world wasn’t as fun (and I couldn’t figure out how to get him back - most likely a skill issue) - Early stamina management is OD. Early game it’s easy to drown & get tired running. I’d imagine it gets better late game, but early game it’s frustrating trying to explore. - Camera takes some getting used to in combat. Sometimes its too close and others too far. - Early arrows have no impact. Felt useless. Hoping later upgrades fix that

TOPIC #107: PI NETWORK IS A STABLE COIN? -WHO DECIDES PI FULLY OM FIXED VALUE? Dear GCV army, I hope you are all doing great! First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for all your hard work. Many of you have achieved significant milestones, and it’s evident that you are making a great difference. Our influence has grown significantly, with an increasing number of social media posts and YouTubers publicly supporting us. I can see that more and more people are beginning to understand why we advocate for GCV. Today's meeting aims to alleviate any doubts you may have, allowing you to relax and feel confident as we embark on our historic journey together. I will answer the questions I’ve received and address some important issues we need to focus on to maintain our community's efficiency, particularly regarding our Generals, which will be the topic next weekend. I put the questions I received here. "A question addressed to Ms. Doris Yin in the emergency meeting 1– In light of the rapidly changing global circumstances and the increasing discussion about stablecoins backed by U.S. Treasury bonds, how do you see the future role of the Pi Network in this context? And what practical steps should the GCV army take now to accelerate this path? 2_ There are those who promote the idea that the price of Pi is what appears in the market (currently around $0.49) and compare it to the price of GCV within the ecosystem (314,159 Pi = 1 good or service). They say if Pi’s price rises to $2, it means that the value within The ecosystem is approximately 2 million dollars. With sincere appreciation and discipline." This is from the Arab head of GCV Ambassador Mr. Mohammed. Another question: "Hello, my Global Ambassador, I am Ateba Joseph, Ecological Ambassador in Cameroon And a member of the GCV army, I am delighted to exchange with you. Regarding the meeting with the GCV army on Sunday, July 27, 2025.. Here is my concern: A few days ago, a correspondence indicated that Pi is not or is not yet a stable coin. Upon reading this information, we have provided many explanations to help the pioneers understand this. I hope you will focus more on this statement to further strengthen our understanding of the subject. Thank you for taking my concerns into consideration" Thank you for the above questions; my answers are below. The first question concerns stablecoins. Many pioneers are hoping that Pi can be recognized by the U.S. government as a stablecoin. I wrote an article on this in May. On July 18, 2025, President Trump signed the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins Act (the GENIUS Act) into law. This legislation establishes a regulatory framework for payment stablecoins and marks the first federal legislation on digital assets enacted since President Trump issued an executive order aimed at making the U.S. the “crypto capital of the world.” U.S.-issued stablecoins are expected to become the primary means of dollar transactions globally, especially in emerging markets with unstable local currencies. The sponsors of the GENIUS Act estimate that by 2030, stablecoin issuers may collectively become the largest holders of U.S. Treasuries, surpassing foreign central banks. From this, we can see that U.S. stablecoins must maintain reserves backing outstanding payment stablecoins on a one-to-one basis, consisting only of specified assets, including U.S. dollars and short-term Treasury securities. It is clear that the Pi Network will not take this path, as it is not part of our plan. A stablecoin is essentially a digital representation of the U.S. dollar. All stablecoin issuers do not create a new currency; rather, it’s akin to purchasing chips at a casino – you must use U.S. dollars to buy those chips. However, Pi is a completely new currency. It does not need to be backed up by U.S. dollars or U.S. Treasuries to be used. If that were the case, we wouldn’t need to establish an ecosystem or have a three-year enclosed mainnet. I previously mentioned the possibility of Pi being an algorithmic stablecoin since only algorithmic stablecoins do not need to be backed by U.S. dollars. However, algorithmic stablecoins have faced significant failures in the past. The collapse of the Terra (LUNA) cryptocurrency resulted in a loss of at least $40 billion in market capitalization, with estimates reaching as high as $60 billion. TerraUSD (UST), an algorithmic stablecoin, lost its peg to the U.S. dollar, contributing to its overall collapse. The new stablecoin legislation recently passed through the Senate effectively ties the U.S. Treasury to crypto, as it essentially bets the government’s cash flow on digital tokens and market speculation. This legislation requires stablecoins to be backed by short-term Treasury bills, generating an estimated $2–$3 trillion in new demand for government debt, which is nearly half the current size of the T-bill market. On paper, this looks beneficial, but in reality, it creates a circular feedback loop: crypto demand fuels stablecoins, stablecoins buy T-bills, and T-bills fund government deficits. The government becomes reliant on speculative capital flows. Thus, we should understand why the U.S. government will not support the Pi Network as a stablecoin, as they require stablecoin issuers to buy T-bills and can no longer trust algorithmic stablecoins. So, what is the future of the Pi Network as a currency? From my perspective, Pi is already listed on exchange markets. It cannot be classified as a security because it is mined freely and is not an ICO. Instead, it should be categorized as a commodity, similar to Bitcoin and ETH. When a currency is listed for trading on an exchange, its price is determined by the balance of supply and demand. However, Pi is a currency in its own right; it has inherent value from Pi holders -Pioneers. Historically, currency has served as a medium of exchange. A medium of exchange is a widely accepted item for buying goods and services in an economy. It facilitates transactions by eliminating the need for a barter system, where goods are directly exchanged for other goods. In modern economies, money (such as currency) serves as the primary medium of exchange. **Functions of Money:** One of the core functions of money is to serve as a medium of exchange, enabling the smooth transfer of value between buyers and sellers, thereby simplifying trade and economic activity. **Examples:** In modern economies, this typically includes currency (paper money, coins) or digital money. In specific historical contexts, other items, such as cigarettes in prisoner-of-war camps, have also served as mediums of exchange. **Importance of Acceptance:** For a medium of exchange to function effectively, it must be widely accepted and trusted within the relevant community. **Not the Same as a Payment Method:** While credit cards and checks are used for payments, they do not serve as mediums of exchange themselves. Therefore, stablecoin is not a new currency. It is more likely to have a credit card or check character. It is a USD digital status. From the analysis presented, we can draw the following conclusions: The current price of Pi on the exchange market primarily serves as a temporary measure to facilitate broad expansion. While this is not our primary objective, it constitutes a strategic approach towards achieving our mission. To gain a clearer perspective, we must adopt a higher-level view of the overall vision for the Pi Network. The mission and vision of Pi Network clearly articulate that it is not intended to function as a commodity for sale, nor is it meant to be an investment vehicle or a speculative security. Instead, it is crucial to recognize that Pi is designed to be a medium of exchange—a new form of currency. As pioneers in this venture, we have the unique opportunity to acquire Pi through free mining. However, it is important to note that the current mining rate is relatively slow. To overcome this limitation and to further our goal of mass adoption, it is essential for more individuals to join the Pi Network and participate in holding Pi. One efficient way to accelerate this process is by allowing Pi to be traded on the exchange market, which can result in rapid and widespread adoption. Since Pi can be mined for free, a lower price could make it more accessible to a larger number of people. It's important to focus on our primary goal during this pre-full Open Mainnet (OM) phase: mass adoption, rather than aiming for high prices, which many pioneers expected. Some pioneers want to sell when the price increases, but if too many sell, it could undermine our goal of achieving mass adoption. This scenario is reminiscent of historical instances when shells served as currency—readily accessible from the sea or buy from the village market. For shells to function effectively as currency, a collective effort was needed to hold and circulate them within the village. If only a select few individuals possess the shells, the currency lacks the necessary circulation to sustain an economy. Hence, our goal should not be centered on achieving a high price; instead, we should strive to make Pi more affordable so that a greater number of individuals can acquire and hold it, thereby fostering a thriving economic ecosystem. Of course, the rising price will build up merchants' confidence to accept it as payment. This is why we refer to it as a buyback campaign, which aims to achieve mass adoption and foster ecosystem confidence. As Pi evolves into a currency, the question of its value becomes pertinent. Given that it is a new currency, its value is not immediately clear. This presents an opportunity for us, the pioneers, to play a crucial role in defining it. The determination of Pi's value is not the responsibility of a central authority such as CT, the government, or the exchange. Instead, it will emerge from a decentralized consensus within the community, which collectively owns Pi. This concept is akin to ancient times when the value of shells was not determined by the sellers. Rather, the value was derived from the collective agreement of the village that utilized them as currency. I hope this elaboration clarifies the distinction between value and price, enabling a deeper understanding of the foundational principles that drive our mission with Pi Network. Pi represents a groundbreaking innovation—a revolution that is poised for long-term economic development on a global scale, rather than perpetuating cycles of plunder and exploitation. By harnessing the power of blockchain technology, Pi empowers ordinary individuals, which creates an inherent conflict of interest with the U.S. government in the short term. Should the U.S. government endorse the Pi Network, it raises questions about the viability of U.S. treasuries and who would ultimately purchase them. Consequently, the government may prioritize support for stablecoins backed by the U.S. dollar and U.S. Treasury securities, as this can help alleviate the U.S. government's issues with limited demand. However, I previously mentioned the potential for Pi to emerge as an algorithmic stablecoin. At that time, the Genius Bill had not yet been enacted. If the Pi Network gains acceptance from the U.S. government, its growth could become rapid and expansive, leading to widespread adoption in other nations. This path would position Pi as a legitimate currency in nearly every country, contingent upon certain conditions. For instance, if the price of Pi in the exchange market can align with the GCV, this could be achieved through a buyback mechanism involving 10 million pioneers. Such a scenario would indicate that Pi differs significantly from past algorithmic stablecoin failures, presenting a compelling case for the U.S. government to view Pi as a low-risk asset. However, it presents a significant challenge to be collectively reached by pioneers, and there are other conditions that we cannot achieve in a short time. While it might appear that Pi Network conflicts with the U.S. dollar or stablecoins in the short term, it has the potential to address the broader issue of overprinting currency, which has plagued the U.S. and many other nations. This would benefit international trade by alleviating concerns about currency appreciation or depreciation in international transactions. The global economy indeed requires a super sovereign currency—one that ensures stability for future generations and fosters lasting peace and prosperity. To comprehend Pi as a currency, it is crucial to recognize that we must cultivate long-term value by generating GCV data. In the short term, our focus needs to be on establishing a robust exchange market and decentralized applications (DApps) to drive mass adoption. If this is understood, there should be no need to feel discouraged by the current low price of Pi. The true value of Pi as a currency derives not from the exchange market, trading platforms, or governmental endorsement, but rather from our community's collective efforts and engagement. You might wonder how a government could adopt Pi, given that it does not take the form of a stablecoin. I would counter with the example of Bitcoin, which has thrived even in environments where many countries have imposed bans. Currently, Pi is transitioning from its traditional commodity status to being recognized as a currency, meaning governmental awareness of Pi Network is still in development. As such, existing regulations generally pertain to older forms of cryptocurrency rather than our innovative approach. Our branding as a digital currency, rather than a cryptocurrency, is intentional. Dr. Nicolas has expressed concerns that many aspects of conventional cryptocurrencies pose challenges to government frameworks and public trust, often leading to economic harm rather than benefit. Our commitment to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) protocols distinguishes us by mitigating money laundering risks and protecting Pi holders from speculative practices. Many businesses face bankruptcy or closure because consumers lack the disposable income to engage in spending. Imagine how Pi could enable those businesses to survive and thrive—people could utilize Pi to make purchases and easily convert it into fiat currency to sustain operations, thereby preserving many jobs. The function in our wallet that allows users to "buy" Pi is not merely a feature; it represents a vision for the future where conversion to fiat currency can happen immediately, without dependency on third-party exchanges. Moving forward, we can establish a fixed rate (the GCV) for conversions. Once larger institutions and prominent companies recognize the low-risk profile of joining Pi Network due to its GCV stability, we can expect a considerable influx of participants seeking to gain a competitive advantage. You may ask how companies would finance the purchase of Pi at GCV rates. This is an insightful question. My perspective is that the demand for Pi’s stable value will inherently incentivize investments. Much like why individuals purchase stablecoins for their convenience in facilitating cross-border transactions, Pi will appeal to consumers and businesses alike, particularly because we are leveraging Web 3.0 blockchain technology, AI-driven platforms, and a rich ecosystem of decentralized applications (DApps). We are cultivating a loyal customer base that recognizes the value of this innovation. We understand that high-net-worth individuals seek safe investment opportunities. While U.S. treasury bonds currently represent a secure asset class, they are not without risk. Therefore, if Pi Network can maintain a limited supply coupled with blockchain technology and a consistent GCV, it is plausible that affluent investors would allocate a portion of their capital to acquire Pi. This would lead to fiat inflows whenever there is increased demand for Pi, establishing an equilibrium between Pi and fiat currencies. This interplay is why I believe DApps are critically significant. We need broader usage of Pi in real-world applications. I hope my analysis has helped clarify why the price of Pi should not overly concern us. Buying Pi to hold onto it allows pioneers to accumulate more, while building merchant confidence is essential to kickstart the ecosystem. Merchants will be motivated to see Pi’s price appreciation since this removes the risks for DApps and service providers who depend on exchange market prices. A rise in demand for Pi will subsequently reduce its supply, which is beneficial for price increases. I look forward to discussing Pi GCV army management in another session. Thank you for your time. Let’s continue striving for greatness together. Doris Yin 🪷🪷🪷 Founder, Global GCV Movement Disclaimer: This speech is intended solely for educational purposes within the GCV community. The views and content shared here represent my personal perspective and are part of the GCV movement, but do not reflect the official position of the Pi Core Team (PCT). Pi Network represents a new revolution, meaning there is no existing example for us to follow and no guiding manual. As Dr. Fan mentioned, we cannot predict what will happen around the next corner. Therefore, we must practice and forge our own path. As more people traverse this journey, the road will become clearer.

🚨FINALLY a Fighter Steps Up - THANK YOU CHIP ROY! LISTEN TO THE ENEMY MEDIA IMMEDIATELY MELT DOWN! NO ONE CAIRS! Rep. Chip Roy introduced the MAMDANI Act - legislation that would DENATURALIZE, DEPORT, and DENY ENTRY to radicals who infiltrate our country to destroy it from within. This bill is named after NYC’s Marxist-Islamic Mayor Zohran Mamdani himself - the foreign-born Democratic Socialist who swore in on the Quran and is turning New York into a Sharia-friendly socialist hellscape. Under the Mamdani Act, any affiliation AFTER age 14 with socialism, communism, Chinese communism, Marxism, DSA, or Islamic fundamentalism would be grounds for stripping citizenship and booting them out. Mamdani - proud DSA card-carrier who praised the Holy Land Five Hamas financiers - could be deported tomorrow. (If our government had the WILL we could deport him TODAY) After years of GOP silence, Roy is giving America the legal tools it needs: “We are a sovereign nation. We can decide who should be among us.” But predictably, the left-wing media and Hamas-tied CAIR immediately launched their smear campaign to harass and intimidate Roy for daring to protect the Republic. Leading the charge? Sameeha Rizvi - CAIR’s Texas Policy & Advocacy Coordinator and the textbook definition of a Red-Green Axis footsoldier. This is the Red-Green Axis in living color: 🔴 RED (Marxist Left): Rizvi was a radical far-left activist at UT Austin - championing Queer/Trans/BIPOC causes, pushing extreme DEI policies, co-authoring “Senate Statements of Harm” on abortion access, and leading illegal pro-Palestine occupations (even temporarily banned from campus after storming the Dean’s office post-Oct 7). 🟢 GREEN (Islamic Supremacism): She flipped to CAIR - the U.S. arm of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Palestine Committee, exposed in the Holy Land Foundation terror-financing trial as a Hamas support network. Now she weaponizes “Islamophobia” claims to shield CAIR’s agenda, defend EPIC City (an Islamic enclave under investigation), and bully Christian women. She smeared ordinary Texas moms as “dangerous extremists” and helped mobilize intimidation campaigns that canceled their event. The ultimate hypocrisy: Rizvi once organized “BLOQ Parties” for Queer Trans BIPOC while now defending an organization whose ideological allies (and Sharia itself) jail, persecute, or execute homosexuals and ban abortion. As EPIC's Yasir Qadhi, a CAIR’s allied cleric, once declared: “To kill the homosexual - this is also our religion.” Marxists and Islamic supremacists despise Western freedom. They hate the same enemies (Christians, conservatives, America First). So they merge forces - using leftist “civil rights” language as camouflage for Islamic infiltration. This is exactly how the Red-Green Axis operates: far-left grievance warriors + Islamic supremacists working together to undermine our Constitution, flood us with radicals, and silence dissent. They scream “xenophobic” and “unconstitutional” at Roy’s bill. Roy correctly points out that the Supreme Court already upheld the communist deportation precedent in 1952. This is about protecting our sovereign nation from those who come here specifically to subvert our values. No apologies. No more weakness. Stand with Chip Roy - Demand your reps co-sponsor the Mamdani Act NOW. Deport the radicals. Defend the Republic. America First, or we lose everything.

Palghar is becoming Maharashtra's next growth engine. This district is not just a part of Maharashtra's growth story. It is the chapter that will define it. Under the visionary leadership of Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, projects that once seemed distant possibilities are today taking concrete shape. Reviewed key aspects of the proposed Vadhavan Port at Chinchani Beach, including internal road network, forest clearances, power supply, rail connectivity, land acquisition, water supply, skill development and compensation for fishermen. Spread over 1,448 hectares with an estimated cost of ₹76,220 crore, this greenfield port will handle next-generation vessels with a 20-metre deep draft, making it capable of berthing the world's largest ships, something no Indian port can offer today. At three times the capacity of JNPA, it will rank among the world's top 10 ports and is expected to generate 10 lakh jobs. What matters equally to me is how we build this. Through open dialogue, fair rehabilitation, ITI upgradation, skill training and a dedicated fisheries institute, we are committed to ensuring that the people of this land, our tribal communities, our fishermen, our youth, are not just witnesses to this progress but its primary beneficiaries. Also inspected the ongoing construction work and reviewed the project layout of the Boisar Station under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project. Work is progressing well and officials have been instructed to maintain pace and quality within the decided timelines. Once operational, Boisar will connect to BKC in under thirty minutes, opening up this entire region economically. This is a project that will genuinely change the character of Palghar. Also reviewed the site of the proposed offshore Airport in Palghar district, which is going to be India's first offshore airport. This project adds a critical third dimension to this connectivity picture. Situated in proximity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor, the Bullet Train, the Uttan-Virar Sea Link, the Mumbai-Vadodara Expressway and the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway, it will significantly improve connectivity while easing the growing passenger load on Mumbai Airport. The pre-feasibility report has confirmed the site as viable and the DPR has been ordered today. Also discussed the MMRDA-developed Narangi Creek Bridge, a ₹850 crore, 4.10 km project that will directly connect Vasai-Virar with Saphale, Palghar and Boisar, reducing travel distance by nearly 40 km and travel time by around 45 minutes. Also held detailed discussions on the Uttan-Virar Sea Link, a proposed six-lane project worth approximately ₹58,754 crore that once complete will directly connect to the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway, making travel between South Mumbai and Ahmedabad faster, safer and more convenient. Inspected the construction and reviewed progress on the Vadodara-Mumbai section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, one of India's most ambitious infrastructure undertakings. A defining feature of this 8-lane greenfield corridor is its direct connectivity to JNPA, enabling faster, more efficient and cost-effective freight movement from North India and giving a major boost to the country's logistics chain. It will also offer a reliable alternative to the congested Thane-Bhiwandi-Ghodbunder routes, with travel time between Vadodara and Mumbai set to reduce from 8 hours to approximately 4 once complete. Vadhavan Port, Bullet Train, Offshore Airport, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Uttan-Virar Sea Link, Narangi Creek Bridge, Virar-Alibaug Corridor. Each project is significant on its own. Together, they are building the Fourth Mumbai, a new economic centre of gravity rising in Palghar, under the visionary leadership of Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the resolve of a government that has cleared decades of stalled decisions. Palghar is emerging as a major growth engine for Maharashtra, opening new opportunities in ports, transport, industry, exports and employment. This is the Maharashtra we are building, and Palghar is leading the way. Minister Ganesh Naik ji, Minister Nitesh Rane, MP Dr Hemant Savara, MLA Rajendra Gavit and senior officials were present. 🙏 जय महाराष्ट्र Ganesh Naik Nitesh Rane Dr. Hemant Savara Mp Rajendra Gavit Official #Maharashtra #Palghar #InfrastructureDevelopment
