According to the modder, this port is quite playable even in this early version 👀

Holy shit! And that is putting it lightly. And then on the other hand we get the exclusive Hitman3 for Quest 3 excusing the poor performance and technical state, that the visual ceiling has been reached. The recent Q3 mods are now setting the new bar.

Is it xmas or april's fool?!?! This is crazy😍

Crazy this is possible, but just another reminder. 10 years ago a PC demo showed a 4-color graphics adapter from 1981 could actually display 1024 colors. We ain't seen nothing yet with what can be squeezed out of modern hardware

I'm very sure we'll get GTA 6 running with this rate of building. Rockstar should watch there back cause we aren't playing here 💀😂🔥

Maybe this will have playable frame rates on Steam Frame?

Profilbild von Hostile VR
Hostile VRvor 5 Tagen

It's definitely possible, because Steam Frame has much more powerful parameters, but it also has one drawback - few people have it and it will never be as popular as Quest (certainly not at this price). Until modders actually own these devices themselves, there won't be any ports for them.

This graphics even looks better than most of the sloppy games on Meta store, lol 😆

Open world Batman would have looked great. As I said devs are not pushing the quest 3 hard. Just say you lack the budget . Or willingness. Looking at you hitman 3

can he just upload a build to PCvr first lol

Profilbild von Hostile VR

What for? There are already PCVR mods for GTA5, it wouldn't be anything special.

where that are 6DOF and have motion controls

Profilbild von Hostile VR
Hostile VRvor 4 Tagen

this is also in the works

Profilbild von Ladster ᯅ

??? Then why are you saying it already exists for PCvr

Profilbild von Hostile VR
Hostile VRvor 4 Tagen

Because the PCVR mod for GTA5 exists and is playable right now. A mod with motion controller support is also in the works. As you might not have noticed in the video, this standalone mod doesn't support motion controllers yet either. So why are you trying to dictate to the modder what they should be working on first?

yes I am very dictating lol

And I asked "what for?" – because, really, what for? :)

Quest 4 should actually be viable to really play, and look good. That's pretty exciting, really.

We have to look at these companies like they are chucking something over a wall and moving on. It's up to us to make it what it should be.

“Showing that something like this is possible”. So something unplayable is possible. Cool.

I read your post and then quoted your words. I’m making fun the dev, not you. I get you need to constantly post new VR stuff to get views. That’s the gig.

Wow. You guys are so defensive. Are you like this in real life?

Imagine what its going to be like with the quest 6 when we get something as powerful as like a 3090 mobile, VR will take over then to have all these options in 90fps mobile

Can a modder make GTA V run locally on the Apple Vision Pro?

We need a first person GTA online style VR game

I want to see him port these games to apple vision pro. I get it could run GTA 5 at low settings

He doesn't have AVP, so he can't port it.

would be very interesting to see on steam frame and utilizing eye track foveated rendering

if it runs like this on quest, then it should be very playable on apple vision pro

Q: How will I know when it’s the right time to go full-time on a startup idea? Tony Fadell is the co-creator of the iPod, iPhone, and Nest. As he puts it in the clip below: “Great ideas chase you.” He continues: “In this world, there are so many people who have more ideas than they have time to implement… I used to be like that. But the best ideas are the ones that you can really focus on… Now I try to run away from a great idea. And then it stalks me. It hunts you down because you’re like: ‘Ah, that’s going to have this problem, I’m going to put it aside.’ And then a few days later, you’re like: ‘Actually I think I know how to solve that problem.’ At some point it just becomes this black hole that sucks you in and you can’t think about anything else but this.” Mark Zuckerberg gave similar advice in a previous Startup Archive answer: “I always think the most important thing entrepreneurs should do is pick something they care about and work on it, but don’t actually commit to turning it into a company until it’s working. If you look at the data of the very best companies, I think a tremendous percentage of them have been built that way and not from people who decided upfront that they wanted to start a company because you just get locked into a local maxima a lot of the time.” Let great ideas chase you and don’t turn it into a company until it’s working. There’s almost always a ton of work you you can do upfront to de-risk an idea before turning it into a company. And perhaps just as important: you want to make sure you’re still excited about the idea after a few months and the novelty has worn off—it should be all you can think about. Companies are almost always a 10 year project if they work and a 2-3 year project if they fail. It’s worth it to be patient before jumping in with two feet.
