THE DOMINATOR 3 IS ALIVE!!!! @jakescustomdiesel to the rescue once again! Jake and Logan performed the impossible and saved the Dominator 3 ahead of Junesanity. We have three days of High Plains Insanity with gorilla hail and isolated #tornado threat each day across the western Dakotas, then we will be picking up the Dominator 3 to finish our #tornado intercept mission in the Northern Plains.

TORNADO SEASON IS ABOUT TO BEGIN! An uptick in severe weather potential appears likely during the first week of March through the middle of March with the development of a trough-ridge pattern. We are finalizing the rebuild of the Dominator 3 and Will Clay has put the science mission on his back! We will be launching dozens of sensors into the tornadoes this year for real-time tornado intensity. LocalMan Weather and I have been grinding out the rest of the Team Dominator speaking tour, with our next event tomorrow night in Effingham, Illinois. On March 1 we will return to the heart of Tornado Alley to test sensors and gear up for the active pattern ahead. 2026 will be a BIG year for #tornado science! Never stop chasing

WOW thank goodness these new Terra Grappler G3 tires from NITTO TIRE USA on the Dominator 3 will help us to get out of the ditch and intercept a #tornado for science! These tires allow us to never stop chasing no matter what the terrain. We measured a 124 mph wind inside this tornado #stormchasing #Dominator

The Dominator allows us to get inside these tornadoes like no one else can safely, so we can record near-surface winds for #science

PDS #DOMINATOR ENGINE REPLACEMENT UPDATE We have an active pattern for severe weather ahead this end if May and June, with many more #tornado intercepts for science expected. @jakescustomdiesel and Will Clay are racing to replace the engine of the Dominator 3 in time for these severe weather and tornado episodes. Here is the new motor which may be installed as early as this weekend. Thank you to S&S Diesel Motorsport for their continued support. The Dominator 3 will be back in tornado intercept mode by Junesanity 2026. Never stop chasing

Team Dominator chased 4-5 tornadoes on a LONG-TRACK supercell from the Ozark Mountains of Missouri through Kentucky. We also saw the Sikeston, MO #tornado but I was driving the Dominator 3. These are the Kentucky tornadoes. This supercell sadly went on to cause significant damage in Somerset and London, Kentucky including fatalities. 14 fatalities have been reported across southern Kentucky from last night’s #tornado outbreak
