I've read THE ODYSSEY contains some of the best spectacle in Christopher Nolan's career. I really believe Nolan has spent his entire career building up to this. For my money, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES contains some of Nolan's best action, notably the fight between Batman and Bane.

When the Toys Come Alive 🎭✨ A magical scene in Tom Thumb (1958): Russ Tamblyn as Tom dances with his paper doll self in his nursery, sharing the screen with George Pal’s extraordinary Puppetoons. Pal had created more than 40 stop-motion shorts featuring his Puppetoons in the 1940s, and here he brings that world into live-action, turning the nursery into a miniature musical wonderland. Tamblyn’s athleticism and acrobatic dancing make the illusion even more remarkable - his live-action performance was combined with the paper doll and the puppets through split screens, optical matting and trick photography. Directed by George Pal, Tom Thumb won the 1959 Oscar for Special Effects. A delightful meeting of live-action dance and stop-motion animation. 🎬✨ #TomThumb #RussTamblyn #GeorgePal #BrothersGrimm #StopMotion

Batman should have kicked them out of his building.🤣 The fact that they don't see his point is baffling to me; every weekend, one of them can be mind-controlled by a villain. RIP Kevin Conroy DC always cooks something special with their animated films. The writing has always been superb; I hope they can channel this kind of writing into their live-action movies

The final scene of The Dark Knight Rises shows Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle living together in Italy after he faked his death to save Gotham. He did this by flying a nuclear bomb away from the city, but he secretly modified the Bat’s autopilot to escape. Alfred Pennyworth sees them at a cafe, giving him the closure he sought for his adoptive son, while John Blake (who revealed his first name is Robin) discovers the Batcave, signaling the continuation of the Batman legend.

Redundancy isn’t a backup plan. It’s the plan. During our Q1’25 operating and financial results call, Archer CTO, Tom Muniz, referenced this flight test from last year—Midnight flying smoothly with an engine out. With 12 electric motors, Midnight is designed to handle the unexpected. As detailed by Tom, this is a powerful demonstration of the “safety-by-design” approach that is core to our aircraft. Watch the test flight. See the benefits of our proprietary 12 tilt 6 design in action.
