Check out this guy wearing an Apple Vision using hand-tracking to control a robot in real time. Could this shift more jobs toward teleoperation in the future?

this robot reminds me of

🚀 Agentic AI Systems are changing what AI can do by having the power to act independently. Unlike traditional AI, which needs constant human supervision, these systems can operate more autonomously. I also want to see that guy try to eat the pringles remotely

Haha me too

There's a video circulating around X, of a square robot cleaning washrooms. It's not AI driven, but rather teleoperated and assigned tasks via 1 dude in a room controlling multiple cleaning bots.

@Virtualfitnessx This is the future of production lines—where human precision meets robotic efficiency through teleoperation and VR tech. Exciting times ahead!

I would love to see the screen recording from the Vision Pro

Blimey, that's more pricey than relocating your business to a dodgy cheap-wage country! 😂

I am skilled in this hire me

Yeah for 6 months while the dataset for whatever job the bots are doing is collected from the remote control being done by the workers.

No it’s about training AI

With some haptic + electrical / thermal feedback, would be cool

I can see people working from Earth using VR to create stuff in Mars.

I'm already working in Arcade Paradise VR

And yet our bosses will still say “come into the office, we have pizza”

No he’s training the machine. this is how all the major robotics outfits are training their ML driven robots.. to replace human labour

no

This should be done using proper controllers fit for this task. Hand tracking is cool, but you can tell how inaccurate it is and the latency. And I am sure this doesn't have to use the Apple Vision, maybe for hand tracking it is best though?

Hmm... Will his hands pass through the table if he suddenly decides to scratch his leg?😶 My instructive thoughts if I had this

Well, no more working in supermarkets my dudes! We will be stacking shelves from home 🤣

Tears grips my heart knowing how hard I have struggled to find a legitimate trader I never wanted to do this but I will be guilty if I don't share this good new Scott is the best trader thank you for helping me @Jennifer257954

Couldn’t open the Pringles then?

Now I can water my plants while I'm away, great stuff

Unfortunately, this will likely result in labour easily being exported to the poorest countries where they can pay workers pennies per hour to do these tasks remotely.

The robots will probably be able to do it themselves after a while.
