It's more than just controlling. It's using the data to train the robots to do these tasks autonomously.

As cool as this is, I can immediately see some very bad uses thay will come about from it. "I could hire you to do this job in person for a proper living wage, or I could buy a robot and then pay a dude from Bangladesh like 50 cents per hour to operate the robot remotely."

Okay but imagine when robots get better and then you could remotely tap into a home bot while away from home if needed (start chores, preheat oven, check something)
