For those who don’t understand this post. Apologists for Hamas have been using “open air prison” to justify the rape, torture, hostage taking, and murder of innocent civilians. This is what the prison looked liked on October 7th, 2023 according to Google Maps.

Marty, just because there are restaurants and swimming pools doesn’t mean millions of people aren’t suffering

semantics: they can’t leave by sea, air, or land unless they’re a citizen of a different nation- idk what you’d call that- a siege? blockade? imprisoned? Even the nicest jail cell is still a cell.

a hotel and a rusty amusement park doesn’t mean it’s not worse than a prison. There’s been a blockade for the past 15 years, Israel did a study on how many calories the Palestinians needed to be healthy and then only allowed half the amount of food trucks in. Same with water

Just because they have bumper cars and a roller coaster doesn’t mean they’re free.

You must have missed the machine gun nests, fences, walls, and security cameras encircling the "not a prison." And the gates that regulate who can leave. Also with machine guns mounted above. As their bodies are searched going in and out. Other than that...very clever point.

Really disappointed in this type of rhetoric Marty. We don’t agree politically and that’s perfectly fine, but this is a really bad take and completely ignores the realities of the situation on the ground.
