Fast-moving wildfires driven by strong winds and soaring temperatures have destroyed more than 700 homes, businesses and other buildings in the Spokane area in eastern Washington state, with another 400 yet to be assessed, fire officials said on Monday. With some 67,000 people under evacuation orders amid the three blazes, hundreds could be coming home to total losses. CBS News’ Kris Van Cleave has more.

Greyshirt volunteers are teaming up with WCK to make sure survivors get what they need. Our team is clearing debris and opening routes to help WCK reach cut off communities where food and supplies have been airlifted in until now.
