In the remote areas of the Republic of Balochistan, farmers still plough their fields using oxen. The people of these regions work together in unity. For rain-fed agriculture, whenever the rains arrive and it is time to sow the Rabi crop, the farmers gather all of their oxen and jointly plough each other's fields. In this way, even very large tracts of land can be ploughed with ease. This collective practice of ploughing is called "Ashar" in the Balochi language. Under this tradition, farmers take turns working together to plough each other's land. It is a centuries-old custom that has been preserved from generation to generation. Likewise, when the crops ripen, the farmers of the entire area work together, helping one another with everything from harvesting to threshing. We have similar situations and Kristi and I will be working with the states and we will work something where the farmers and be responsible. They have had people around for 10 or 15 years and they know them well, we will put them responsible, and issue a form of card or documents and the farmer will be responsible for these people. They will not have citizenship but they will be working and paying taxes. We need to get our farmers the people they need or else the farmers will not be able to do their land. It was tried when there was a very strong guy, and he got everybody out, and every farm almost in the country but every farm in California or Iowa went bankrupt and they had nobody to work and we do not want that situation. We will put our farmers and others in charge of the people that they have under them. They know the people and it will work out well. We will take care of our farmer but to get the criminals out. This video was taken in eastern Colorado just 30 minutes after a 1" rain. Notice the ponding and erosion already starting in this recently planted field. This is a symptom of soils that lack biology, and have poor aggregation and structure. They can't absorb water, so the rain runs off instead of soaking in. Without living roots and good soil structure, bare ground struggles to infiltrate rainfall, especially intense storms like this one appears to have been. Healthy soils act like sponges. Here's how we can capture more rain and prevent erosion: - Keep living roots in the ground as much as possible with cover crops - Minimize tillage to preserve soil structure - Build organic matter through residue and compost - & so much more! An overwintered or spring planted cover crop make a huge difference. Sad to say that there is no expenditure being made by the State Government of #Odisha for the people of this state and for their development. Time and again this has been brought to the attention of #Odisha Government by Biju Janata Dal that there must be some expenditure for the development of the people of the state, but they seem to be totally neglectful about this. Everyone is suffering. It's not exclusive to any people, it is everyone that is suffering. There is an urgent need for Congress to step in on NIL compensation. You ought to be able to receive the fruits of your labor, so I believe we should protect the rights of student athletes to receive NIL compensation. Timing is everything, isn’t it? And sometimes being in the right place at the right time feels well, timely, or even predetermined. With wildlife photography, it’s all about being in the right place at the right time. The more you know about your subject, the better because it increases your chances of being where you need to be when you need to be there. There is also an element of just letting go and taking what is given to you. It’s always best to have no expectations at all when it comes to wildlife. On this morning, everything did fall perfectly into place, and I was able to capture this dreamy scene of a beautiful Dalmatian pelican and its reflection on smooth water as it came in for a landing. Oh yeah, the glorious snow-capped mountains in the back were definitely a treat too. The days prior to this, that mountain range was hidden by clouds. I didn’t even know it was there. 🤪

This was at La Jolla Cove in La Jolla California. These people are swimming at the Cove but there is a good amount of Sea lions there. 😳 You can see one of the Sea lions almost run over a kid as it is trying to get back in the water and you can hear a voice over the loudspeaker telling people to please keep their distance from all the Sea lions. People argued about this saying that little beach was always meant for kids to swim at and has been that way for 40 years. But many others said that it has obviously changed and now we have Sea lions there and they should leave those Sea lions in peace and go find another beach. To me, the ocean, that is their home. There are plenty of other beaches to use. The people should be the ones to move, not the Sea lions. 💯 What is your opinion? Should they just keep it the way it is, let people around the Sea lions or should they close this small beach cove to the public in order to allow the Sea lions to be in peace?

But many others said that it has obviously changed and now we have Sea lions there and they should leave those Sea lions in peace and go find another beach. To me, the ocean, that is their home. There are plenty of other beaches to use. The people should be the ones to move, not the Sea lions. 💯 What is your opinion?
