DETAINER ISSUED FOR ALLEGED HOME INVADER ICE issued an immigration detainer on Alex Matheu Martinez, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras with an existing removal order currently held at the Lubbock County Jail who’s facing multiple felony charges. When an immigration detainer is honored, local law enforcement transfer custody of the target criminal illegal alien to ICE officers in their secure location instead of releasing them onto the street. This is safer than having to arrest the criminal illegal alien at-large in the community after their release.

Mayor Frey, tell that to the family and loved ones of Minnesotan Victoria Eileen Harwell who was MURDERED by an illegal alien from Ecuador. Immediately following the crime, ICE placed a detainer for German Llangari Inga upon his arrest for criminal vehicular homicide. Because Dane County is a sanctuary county, local officials could release him back into the community. DHS is urging the county to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
