My speech today in bradford council. They have voted to take my request to the next level. Hopefully the councillors will now see how important this is and take the lead in pushing for bradford to have a full inquiry as part of the national inquiry. Susan hinchcliffe said this has already been done, but it hasn't. They have said they are willing if the inquiry wants to. Like I said in my speech we do not want willingness. We want action and leadership.

Holidays have been hard for me ever since my cousin was killed. That loss changed my family forever. Then I lost my mother, then my sister, and over time the circle grew smaller as people drifted apart. Eventually, I found myself standing mostly on my own. But I still feel lucky. This is the commotion that took place on Saturday, when my mother and my sisters came to get my grandma after I called my uncle in NW province to ask him "why have they have not come see their mother when they know she is ill?" I harrassed, assaulted with a broom, bullied and abused by my mother and sisters for taking care of my grandma. Things were said and some of them I had no idea I had done like killing my dad with a heart attack because I had apparently accused him of SAing me, I had that rumor for the first time in my life, there's been other rumors created before but this is the biggest one so far... My family is a family of bullies...💔💔💔

My mother had a tremendous love of people, loved to entertain. All of my friends loved my mom and she loved them. Anyone who ever met mom tells me “she was the sweetest.” Her capacity to love was one of her greatest gifts, having her as our mom is ours. I still grieve for my mother every day, but I was fortunate to have my mom in my life for as long as I did, because nothing was left unsaid. She knew I loved her and I knew she loved me. I have said this before but it bears repeating; if you are fortunate enough to still have your mother, tell her you love her, if you can’t see her, call her. Try not to let petty grievances keep you apart because one day she will be gone and all you will have left are memories. Happy Mother’s Day to my momma and to all of the moms out there. 💐

(I just wanted to take a brief moment to thank all of you that have been on this ride with me for the last 2+ decades. words seem inadequate, and even if I had them, I’m not smart enough or articulate enough to express my gratitude properly. there are things that are not sayable, and that’s why we have art. I’m not done. not by a long shot. still a lot of work to do.)
