A bottleneck in China's ability to make 5nm and 7nm chips domestically has been the inability to buy lithography machines. China has now patents domestic lithography technology and will be able to meet its own chip needs for high end consumer technology. The US attempt to slow China down only made China less dependent on foreign technology. Given China was already the largest consumer of microprocessors, the US essentially gave China's domestic technology manufacturing a major boost. #Lithography #Chips #semiconductors

The United States has begun receiving shipments of tungsten, a critical rare-earth mineral, straight from Rwanda for the first time. The vast majority of Americans have no idea how far ahead China actually is. China has AI autonomous delivery, humanoid robots, 45,000 km of highspeed rail, droids in many hotels and restaurants, national worker's healthcare, low tuition costs, driverless taxis, and most adults own their own home outright. The US should be taking notes. And that's why I keep posting. I want my fellow Americans to wake up and see that there is a better way.
