Addendum:

Why It’s Impossible That Xi Told Trump “The Virus Would Disappear in Summer” On February 7, 2020, China was at the darkest hour of the COVID-19 crisis. That very day, Dr. Li Wenliang passed away, sparking an unprecedented wave of grief and anger across Chinese social media. Wuhan reported over 20,000 confirmed cases, with 1,985 new infections and 67 deaths within a single day. Hospitals were overwhelmed beyond capacity; even temporary facilities like Fangcang shelter hospitals had not yet been fully established. It was a time of uncertainty and chaos. No one in China, not even the top leadership, could have predicted whether the outbreak could be controlled at all. In this context, the idea that Xi Jinping could have assured Trump that “the virus would go away in the summer” is completely absurd. It is unimaginable that any responsible Chinese official, seeing the desperate situation firsthand, would make such a reckless and baseless promise. If anything, Trump’s narrative reflects his own wishful thinking, not any realistic message from China. Attempting to backtrack and pin his false optimism on Xi not only insults the intelligence of observers but also disrespects the immense suffering endured by Wuhan and all of China at that time. The timeline itself proves it: February 7 was still a day of tragedy, not triumph.

Here’s what could get more expensive with Trump’s new tariffs.

Dear Corrine, You have penned a MUST READ POST.

I’m so touched by your words, Bevin. Thank you for your encouragement and kindness!😊

The West relies heavily on propaganda to influence public opinion in their hemisphere and throughout the world. Spreading false narratives is part of their arsenal of psychological warfare against China.

I find that Americans and Indians are becoming more and more alike, lying, warlike, and if India's national strength is equal to that of the United States, India is the enhanced version of the American. They don't seem to understand what civilization is.🤔

Our famously free press isn’t going to confront Trump. Better to let China do it.

Good for China. Trump is a pathological liar with no ethics whatsover. Hitting back hard to his lies is the only way forward

China will soon lean that the same exact philosophy will need to be applied in proxy wars! ZIOUSA will continue to cause issues all around china. ZIOUSA Only LISTENS TO BRUTE FORCE

The US has always been on the offensive, knowing that if they lose, they can simply retreat safely and prepare for another attack without facing any punishment. It's time to show them that their way of doing things no longer works in today's world
