Claims of wind turbine capacity value have been hugely exaggerated by wind industry officials, lobbyists and regulatory agencies. A 1 MW (1,000 kW) wind turbine that produces 2,190,000 kWh of electricity during a year has achieved a capacity factor of 25%. That is 2,190,000 kWh divided by 1,000 kW x 8,760 hours; or 2,190,000 divided by 8,760,000 = .25). When they tell you a 2 MW wind turbine can power 500 homes in reality it can only power 125 homes but that also requires the ramping up and down of coal/natural gas/nuclear or hydro plants. Wind and solar can never power society no matter what the politicians and green grifters tell you. In fact if they are telling you this, they are lying. If they tell you battery backup is the answer remember the $5 billion Tesla “Gigafactory” in Nevada which is the world’s biggest battery manufacturing facility can only store three minutes’ worth of annual U.S. electricity demand. #GreenEnergy

This man lives in a village, and near his house he has a dairy farm where he keeps milk-producing animals. He installed two very large exhaust fans in the farm for proper air ventilation and to remove the heat. Because of this, the electricity bill for both his house and the dairy farm was very high every year, running into lakhs of rupees. A large portion of his income was being spent on electricity bills. One day, the man noticed that a very strong stream of air was coming out of the exhaust fans. Since both exhaust fans run all day, he realized he could use this airflow to generate electricity. He then installed two large wind turbines in front of the exhaust fans. The wind turbines spin at high speed all day using the strong air coming from the exhaust fans and generate about 30 units of electricity every day, around 900 units per month, and nearly 11,000 units per year. He uses this electricity to power his house, saving around ₹80,000 every year. Now he has to pay a much lower electricity bill. With his smart thinking, this man turned the waste air coming out of the two large exhaust fans into useful electricity by using two wind turbines, giving himself a significant financial benefit.

And wind is more chaotic, breaking down all the time when the wind eases off or doesn’t blow enough. In fact wind is lucky to work at just h30% of its capacity - meaning it’s broken down 70%. Blackout Bowen is actually making the case why we need to start building new coal fired power stations yesterday. China currently has a fleet of 1,147 GW of coal-fired power, with a further 421 GW of new coal fired power stations under construction & development. In contrast Australia’s total fleet is an ageing 21GW of coal fired power, which Blackout Bowen wants to close down. If you are going to bed, say a prayer for Australia.
