This is just awful optics for Chris Hipkins and Labour. Excluding the COVID years, this appears to be the first time in at least a decade that the Labour Party has not had a stall at Fieldays. This will come back to haunt them on the campaign trail. National Fieldays is more than a farming event it’s a major exhibition and celebration of small business, technology, the environment, innovation, investment, and rural New Zealand as a whole. By turning up with little more than a token appearance, Labour is effectively sending a clear message to the rural community: we don’t really care about you. It will be interesting to see whether the media presses Hipkins on this when he makes his brief visit today — assuming he actually turns up.

And then he wanted DHS funding. And then he wanted Penn Station and Dulles Airport named after him. And when people would say to me, “Why don’t you just do it?” I found that offensive. This question is actually quite shocking and shows how out of depth Harry and how remains an extreme liability for the monarchy. He’s just too dim to know it. At first here, he genuinely confused and oblivious to what Chris Ship is asking him and how his statements could be tricky for Charles, which should be obvious. Harry—the King’s son—is making personal statements and demanding world leaders take action without any consultation with the monarchy. A huge problem with potential political and geopolitical ramifications that Harry is obviously unaware of. Second, when Chris Ship further clarifies the question Harry is rather horrified and then obviously nervous when realizing that he may have made a mistake, literally backing away from Ship. He then looks to his handler and ends the interview. When you slow it down especially, you can see the emotions all over his face. This is embarrassing. Harry is both too arrogant and too dim to actually understand the situation he’s trying to lecture the public on. And as a result, he’s easily led and can make mistakes without realizing the larger implications. The titles MUST be stripped before he does anything truly stupid, which this video makes appallingly clear is coming.

A good laugh watch junior reporter Jamie Ensor get worked over by WP - Ensor got a slap around the ears last week by WP for asking stupid Insipid questions gets pysched out and his face is hilarious.. looks like he is holding in a high shrill Scream 😱 😆 This is exactly how the media should be tested .. total disdain and contempt just like how they treat the public with their garbage they print.

He began to say “just after the election,” then caught himself and changed it to “two to three months before the election.” Labour clearly has serious problems with its policy platform. The office of The ODM Party’s Secretary General is not a platform for personal opinion. It is an institutional role that demands discipline and loyalty to the party constitution. Edwin Sifuna has failed in this duty. If he wishes to pursue a different political path, that is his democratic right. But as long as he remains ODM’s Secretary General, he must respect the Party Leader and communicate the party’s official position, not his own. The Secretary General does not make policy.
